A baby boy was born in Nevada on April 5, 1775. Even though he was born in Nevada, he was NOT an American, and nither were his parents, who were also born there. So, how is it possible to be born in America, and not be American.

5 props to the first five to get this right. I'm not trying to trick you, there is an answer to this. :)

I guess that's really close to the answer. The real answer was that America wasn't even created yet, he was born a ano before the birth of America.

Well, that and that Nevada wasnt a state until October 31st, 1864.
