 Rajasthan film festival is the biggest film festival Award Show and Short Film in Rajasthan, India and is celebrated every year with great pomp and fervor to honor and encourage both artistic and technical excellence of artists in Rajasthani cinema.

                                                     After a roaring success in 2015, the fourth edition of Rajasthan film festival was organized on 24th September 2016 at Maan palace, Jaipur(Rajasthan). It was a two-day event in which press conference was organized on first day 19th Aug and the award night was on 24th September. Artists of Rajasthan film industry gathered on this splendorous night to celebrate Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage and the vastness of Rajasthani cinema. Many outstanding performances were staged on this great eve and a short list of the mesmerizing performers include names like:  Bhanwari Devi, Mohit Gaur,Neha Shree,Mahendra Gaur,Kshitij Kumar & Vijay Lakshmi. The chief guest of Rajasthan film festival 2016 was Mr. Javed Akhtar, the famous lyricist of Bollywood. The show hosts for the evening were Aman Verma and RJ Mohit from My fm.

                                                    Various awards were given to the filmmakers, artists and technicians of Rajasthan film industry for showcasing the outstanding work in the previous year. It provides them an international platform and boosts their morale. The list of awards includes, award for the Best Director,Best Writer,Best Actor,Best Actress, Best Supporting Performance, Best Singer Male, Best Singer Female, Best lyric Writer, Best Music Director, Best Comic Performance, Best Movie, Best Editor, Best Choreographer, Best Cinematographer, Best Make Up, Best Action Director and Life Time Achievement award.

                                                   The ‘Life Time Achievement Award’ was given to famous lyricist “Ikraam Rajasthani” for his amazing contribution in the film industry for more than 30 years. The best film award was given to “hivde mai futte laddu”. The latest album of Mohit Gaur- “Galatfehmiya” was also launched on this amazing night.
