Vixie79 No, I'm sure if I had a chance to paint again I would be able to create something. I always just let it flow and see what happens. I've lost my poetry mojo though. I really wish I could get something out again. I can be too much of a perfectionist too. I've also made a lot of Harry Potter ones as well that are really good and I was proud of.

jester616 Hopefully it will get back to you. Perfectionism is rough; not a particular issue w/me, but I've seen how it can paralyze others. I wish i had artistic talent, but then I figure there's a place for those like me who can only enjoy what others create!

jester616 Thanks for the link. I, unfortunately, do not have a knack for poetry. I usually miss the point--same w/song lyrics, unless it's blindingly obvious! I enjoyed "California Stop", but for the life of me, I don't know how to explain why.

Vixie79 LOL it's okay. It's just simply about me traveling to a person in Cali that I fell in love with, to spend my life with him and forgetting the stress and loneliness here in MO. This poem was an old one and I have my very last one I have written on there too. It's called "Safe Word." Thanks for reading it though.
