I no this has nothing to do with prince or mj...but i have 1 pergunta to ask...can you learn how to sing?

I'm asking this because i amor to sing to the radio but I cant sing but feel dwn inside I have it in me but I never try because if it comes out wrong I dnt want to be embarassed and my sister and my mom always tell me to shut up and atop trying cause you cant sing...so I never try so what can I do...sing badly alone..idk i just want a karaoke voice
