Number 21 – ABC should move Castle to Tuesdays @ 10 next season if the Nathan Fillon led series gets renewed.

I’m with you SAM. I would love it if “Forever” could come back. I really miss that show! And ABC should figure out that the ratings just won’t be huge for Tuesdays at 10. Come on!

All you did was rephrase the question. But I don’t think they should. They should just end it this season.

Who cares and why you guys keep on complaining about whether Castle will end this season or next season if it gets renewed? Stop making excuses and no more whining and complaining when you comment and/or reply.

#21: not sure if Castle goes with Agents of Shield @ 9pm on Tuesday. That time slot is a dead zone for all networks. But maybe NCIS: NO fans will switch over to ABC at 10pm.

#20-I thought it was a bit weird that she didn’t have a passcode seeing how she’s trying to hide so much from her daughter and everyone else

Also I feel that the ending was changed because they got a renewal something about it get off and a little ridicilious but then again I guess that’s the whole premise of the show

3. H…no, I’d flip for eons if my husband went off and spent tons of money on a living situation without checking with me, much less a new guy in the life of. You could tell she thought it was sweet, but that ground rule has to be made clear, again and again, because the first ten times of telling might not stick. The brain does get foggy with lovey dovey wanting to please feelings.

On #15 … Noticed. And PLEASE tell me this isn’t a foreshadowing of the Blind Item of a major character being written off. We can’t loose Tony AND Gibbs in the same episode.

ABC was too quick to pull the plug on that one. It was gaining viewers each week. In the olden days networks gave some iffy shows a chance, like Cheers. It didn’t do well the first year but NBC renewed it and it ended up going for 11 yrs.

It is NOT true that Forever “was gaining viewers each week.” It actually ended its run with about half the number of live viewers that the first episode drew–a HUGE drop. It also declined in total number of DVR viewers from season beginning to end. The 18-49 demo numbers dropped significantly as well by year’s end. Some of the episodes did better than the preceding one or two did, but the overall pattern was a clear and substantial decline across the board. I liked the show too, but making up stuff about the ratings is just not right.

Watching last night I was wondering if she was pregnant. I hadn’t noticed prior to that tho.

25. I was a little worried about HTGAWM about 5 episodes ago, but the last few have been a return to form.

#3 – yes I agree that jenny had reason to be upset – initially. However, the mistake made, sincerely apologized for, and corrected. That’s all anyone can do to make amends. But for her to STILL be whinging on and on about it just shows a complete lack of grace. You can’t expect to get forgiveness for your transgressions if you’re not willing to give it to others for theirs. Yes, this is probably the writers setting up their break up, but it really makes her look like more than a bit of a tool.

12. Time was of the essence, and the terrorist might have strung out the negotiation, having fun with it or whatever.

ABC can bring the entire cast of Castle to perform it live in my living room for all I care…and I still wouldn’t watch. The writing has gone way downhill and the leads look like they can’t stand each other.

Now, if they had given Forever a chance in that spot…

The Show Runners and Writers (with one or 2 exceptions) have hurt the show to the point it’s hard to watch.They have changed the DNA of the Show.The Show Runner who said there will likely be a cliffhanger regardless of whether the show is renewed or not is the perfect example of the disrespect for the fans,story, and history of this beloved show. I haven’t watched in almost 2 months but #BadAssBeckett will be the focus on the show on March 21.I will watch I keep hoping Castle the show we fell in love with would come back so I would watch again.Castle PI/GDS is losing millions and it is sad.

#18. Why do the writers for Nashville, and for Castle too, need to stir up drama for a couple that fans have been waiting so long to see happy? It drives me nuts! And i know this is a night soap, but for the love, just please give them some stability. 9 – The writers and producers seem to have a difficult time remembering storylines they’ve done, ages of characters, etc, so I wouldn’t be the slightest bit surprised if they forgot Fiona was legal guardian to her siblings.

Catle is long dead and can’t save anything, including itself.

So what cattle has long since died and where did the beef go? A dead cattle becomes beef and sure saves people from hunger.

I thought REVENGE did good business on Tuesdays before it was moved to Sundays..

Forever could’ve survived the Tuesday 10pm death slot but ABC dropped it because it was produced by WB so it was less profitable than a show they produce, they just can’t seem to produce anything good.

I thought that the episode would have made a fine SERIES finale….

Castle, as a veteran that many still think should be renewed, plugged the hole that was 10pm Monday. However, judging by its current performance and a presumable rating next season would hardly mean anything if it moved or stayed. The usual decline ratings between season to season would make Castle an expensive veteran show giving almost the same low ratings compared to struggling new shows they’ll be trying next fall.

Bow can sometimes be as annoyingly pretentious as Tracy Ellis Ross’s mother, Diana Ross.

I don’t understand why so many people get upset about cheating on dramatic television. Spencer has cheated many times and nobody really seems to care about Aria sleeping with Ezra, but Hanna thinks she may die and tells her ex bf, who she was with for a really long time, information about their breakup that he didn’t know and god forbid it’s the end of the world when he kisses her. The show is basically a soap opera with bad judgment on all ends and cheating is what gets everybody to lose their minds.

The only part I was annoyed with was Aria and Ezra, because I will never be ok with that relationship. Super creepy.

Grey’s already did a quintuplet episode, when each intern was responsible for one of the babies after they were born.

#20 ~ A fitting ending for Thad. I just wanted him gone boy.

#4-I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks it’s weird. They’re all super bundled too. They knew they’d be filming this arc in through all the winter months, you’d think production would have made it appear darker and colder. Plus the UW isn’t hell, but an in between place, so they could have designed whatever they wanted and had it make more sense.

#16-Yes, agreed. We did not need to see Spencer in skimpy panties either. There was literally no point to that scene.

Could Castle save Tuesdays….that’s hilarious! Castle can’t even save itself. It’s not suffering because of its time slot. It’s the season 8 trashing of the prior 7 seasons and the bad writing that’s killed its ratings. Maybe if they make all but the last couple minutes of season 8 a dream and Caskett wakes up the morning after Hollander’s Woods ended they’ll have a shot at bringing back viewers. However, I don’t see TPTB trying to reverse the mess of season 8. They keep talking about how “fun” and “great” it’s been.

Besides the writing problems, moving it to Tuesday won’t be any less competitive for Castle. Monday nights NBC’s Blindspot kicks Castle’s butt and CBS’s NCIS LA takes second. Tuesday nights it would be NBC’s Chicago Fire trouncing Castle and CBS’s Limitless would take second.

Finally, on top of all of the above, Castle’s season 8 demo ratings are about the same as Forever’s were – and they didn’t renew Forever. They’re going to move a show in with the same ratings as what they cancelled? How is that saving Tuesdays?

It’s clear that the answer to ABC’s Tuesday night woes isn’t moving Castle there – nor is doing so a solution for Castle.
