10. Palpitoad

While he has been shown to be an amazing battler, he didn't get much screen time during the Best Wishes series because seeing as Ash already had 6 other Pokemon in his possession at that time, he had to send Palpitoad to Professor Juniper where he remained for quite a while. Ash's Palpitoad is still incredibly strong despite the minimal screen time he received and I have no problems with him. I do have one thing about him I've never been able to figure out. HOW THE HECK WAS HE ABLE TO LEARN SLUDGE WAVE!?! Someone PLEASE explain that to me, because I just don't see how a Water/Ground type is able to know a Poison type Move.

9. Boldore

Again, a Pokemon of Ash's that didn't get that much screen time during the Best Wishes series but was still shown to be a strong and amazing battler whenever it got screen time. When it was still a Roggenrola, it was full of energy and spunk just always on the go. After it evolved, it seemed to calm itself and control it's energy better. Also, after it evolved, it was shown to be very affectionate towards Ash, as seen after it and Ash won the battle against Clay and his Excadrill, and Boldore hugged Ash excitedly as the two of them laughed happily.

8. Butterfree

He was so sweet and kind to everyone right from the moment Ash caught him when he was a Caterpie in the episode "Ash Catches a Pokémon". He was even really friendly towards Misty who did nothing but insult him and yell at him to get away. Misty did end up hurting his feelings, but luckily Ash was there to cheer him back up.

7. Snivy

She has so much spirit and passion when it comes to battling. She always gives it her all going in at 100 maybe even 110% and she doesn't stop until she's knocked out her opponent or she's been knocked out. There were some moments during the Best Wishes series when Ash was using Snivy in battle, and I thought Snivy was at her and that she was going to collapse, but then she got back up and continued battling. Also another characteristic I admire about Snivy is her compassion for other Pokémon. In the episode "Evolution por Fire" Snivy was very sweet towards Pignite, offering to help him battle against his former owner, Shamus. During the battle when Shamus had his fogo Warriors use a combination mover which Shamus called "Super Flare Blitz". The "Super Flare Blitz" was done por Emboar using Flare Blitz and Heatmor using fogo Spin. The "Super Flare Blitz" would've hit Tepig knocking him out for sure, but Snivy took one for the team, stepping out in front of Tepig in order to protect him, and she got knocked out instead. Snivy stayed outside of her Pokéball in order to watch Tepig battle against Shamus, and seeing her support as well as the support of all his other friends made Tepig evolve into Pignite. After the battle was over, with Pignite and Ash coming out on top, Shamus went up to Pignite and told him he was sorry for saying he had no talent and asked him to come back to his side, but seeing Shamus didn't really care about him, Pignite blew a Flamethrower in his former trainers face which made Snivy laugh at Shamus. As Shamus angrily ran off, Ash, Snivy, and Pignite hugged each other, feeling excited about their win.

6. Leavanny

Leavanny is super cute and super sweet. He cares lots about his trainer as well as his fellow Pokémon. He is very good at making clothes and he enjoys doing it as seen in the episode "Battling the Leaf Theives" when right after evolving into Leavanny he went off to make clothes for all of Ash's pokémon as well as Iris' Axew and Emolga, although Emolga and Snivy weren't too thrilled, but that didn't stop Emolga from taking a chance to laugh at Snivy. Later on, after Axew was taken por a family of Durant, Leavanny led Ash and the others through the cave using the thread from his mouth to trace a path so they could leave once they found Axew, proof that Leavanny is a very dependable and resourceful Pokémon.

5. Oshawott

I like pokémon that tend to be troublemakers, and that's exactly what Oshawott was most of the time. Although, when he's not causing mischief, he's very sweet and helpful. He may not like to battle against opponents bigger or stronger than he is, but most of the time he's ready for a battle and he gives it his all.

4. Pikachu

He's probably a favorito for every pokémon fan, although if there are some who don't like him for whatever reason, that's alright as well. He has such an incredible spirit and he has such a big passion for battling, something he actually DIDN'T have at the beginning of the pokémon anime. In the first season, pikachu would sometimes get scared at the mention of a Gym battle such as in "Electric Shock Showdown". In that episode As wanted to challenge the Vermillion Gym and earn his third badge, but every other challenger who went to that Gym faced a tough battle against the Gym leader and they're pokémon were badly injured in the process. pikachu began to freak out when he noticed all the other pokémon and just how badly they got beat up. Another time pikachu was afraid to battle was in the episode "The Punchy Pokémon" when Ash wanted him to fight against Anthony's Hitmonchan, because Ash and the others thought Hitmonchan was a wild pokémon until Anthony showed up and explained he owned Hitmonchan. When the gang first spotted Hitmonchan, Ash was very excited and asked pikachu to battle him, and this freaked pikachu out when he looked at Hitmonchan and saw his mad boxing skills. Ash pulled pikachu aside and taught him a boxing technique, although this still didn't work, and not soon after Anthony showed up. After a while, pikachu began to amor battling and was always ready for a battle. The only time pikachu was okay with battling, but still freaked out when Ash asked him to was in "Scraggy-Hatched to be Wild". Scraggy had just hatched and he kept attacking the other pokémon without warning, and Ash told pikachu "Have a battle with Scraggy as a welcome gift." When Ash said this pikachu panicked because he was afraid of Scraggy, but during the battle, Scraggy's Moves had no affect on Pikachu, most likely because Scraggy had just hatched so he had like no experience. Nevertheless, pikachu is just amazing, sweet, loving, strong, and powerful, simple as that.

3. Unfezant

She has such incredible spirit when it comes to battling and when she's not in battle she's really sweet and caring. She's been that way ever since she was a little Pidove. I just admire her spirit and passion so much as well as how sweet and loving she is towards her friends.

2. Froakie

In his debut episode "Kalos, Where Dreams and Adventures Begin" he showed up and helped protect Ash, Clemont, Bonnie, and pikachu from Team Rocket and he even took major damage protecting pikachu because pikachu had fired an Electro Ball and Jessie had Wobbuffet use Mirror Coat, so the Electro Ball was going to hit pikachu with twice the damage, and that's when Froakie jumped in front of pikachu and he took the damage. In the following episode "Lumiose City Pursuit" Froakie became worried about Garchomp after Team Rocket broke into Professor Sycamore's lab and was using a colarinho, colar to control Garchomp. When Ash and pikachu went to save Garchomp on Prism Tower, Froakie went with him because he was worried about his friend. The seguinte dia right before Ash and his friends were about to leave Professor Sycamore's lab, Froakie stopped Ash and he had his Pokéball on the ground, and he pushed it towards Ash gently, and when Ash asked Froakie if he wanted to come along with him, Froakie pressed the button on his Pokéball and was then caught por Ash, or maybe Froakie caught himself for Ash. In the seguinte episode "A Battle of Aerial Mobility" Ash and his friends came across Dedenne (who later became Bonnie's) who was trying to get a berry it had accidently dropped, and Bonnie was about to give the berry back to Dedenne when Fletchling (who would become Ash's) roubou the berry away from Dedenne, making Dedenne cry and run away. Bonnie became really sad when Dedenne ran off, and she almost began crying as well, and when he saw the look on Bonnie's face, Froakie became furious with Fletchling for making his friend so upset and he began throwing his frubbles at Fletchling, although Ash never commanded Froakie to do anything. Clemont then remembered that Professor Sycamore explained to the group earlier that Froakie had a habit of not listening to his trainer in battle. Later on, Ash pulled Froakie aside and told him that he understood he was only trying to get even with Fletchling for making Bonnie upset, and then he and Froakie worked out a plan together that successfully helped Ash capture Fletchling, and after that, Froakie always listened to Ash. Because of those three episodes, it's easy to tell that Froakie's sweet and cares a lot about his friends and will do whatever he can to help them, so even though he may not have listened to Ash's commands at first, at least his coração was in the right place.

1. Aipom

I'm pretty sure a lot of you who have looked at my pesquisas and teste perguntas saw this coming. Right from her debut episode "Slaking Kong" Aipom always took Ash's hat from him and ran around with it, and even though he always got annoyed when she did this, she was just playing around with him and trying to get his attention. At the beginning of the episode "Borrowing on Bad Faith" Dawn and Brock noticed Ash trying to get his hat from Aipom, and Dawn said "I guess some things never change." Brock then said "It's Aipom showing affection for Ash whether he likes it or not." What Brock said is completely true, Aipom likes Ash a lot and her way of showing it is por taking his hat and making him chase her around to get it back. I know it's probably not one of the most popular Ships, but I'm a strong supporter of HatThiefShipping (don't judge), and I just think Aipom's so adorable when she's be playful with Ash. It's obvious that Aipom is head over heels in amor with Ash. This can easily be seen in the episode "Aipom and Circumstance" when Ash told Aipom "Please stop doing crazy stuff" and she blushed as he hugged her. Another episode where it's easy to notice Aipom loves Ash is in "Home is Where the Start is". Ash was just about to leave for the Sinnoh Region, and he left all his pokémon at Professor Oak's, and most of Ash's pokémon looked happy, except for Aipom who was sad to see Ash leave. Towards the end of the episode, Ash and pikachu were on a barco sailing towards the Sinnoh Region when a strong wind almost blew Ash's hat away, but thanks to Aipom, who followed Ash all the way, Ash's hat was safe. There's another one of Ash's pokémon that has shown to be in amor with Ash, and that's Bayleef, but honestly I think Aipom loves Ash even mais than Bayleef does.
