Snivy and I walk out of the dressing room and we find another room labeled: Waiting Room for Coordinators and Guests ONLY. "I guess this is where we go." I convey. I open the opaque glass door. Inside of the huge room are dozens of coordinators. There's also four televisions in the area. Three of them are in the front of the expanse. The last one is in the back. "Wow. A lot of people are going to enter the contest!" I exclaim. "Snivy!" I stroll to an empty bench and sit down. Boy do I LOVE my contest dress! I feel like a princess! "Hi! Are you new here?" Hm? Is that guy talking to me? A boy with dark red hair walks over to me and waves his hand. "Yes I am. Who are you?" I pergunta him. "Right! I'm Drake! Nice to meet-cha! And you are?" "My name's Victoria. And this is Snivy." My head points at Snivy. "Vy! Vy!" "That's pretty cool that ya got a Snivy! My starter was Tepig and he evolved into a Pignite!" This guy is such a brag. "That sounds great! Are you a coordinator?" "Ya got that right! I'm here to be the seguinte big thing!" Good luck with that, Drake. "You nervous?" marreco, drake asks me. "Huh? Yeah...yeah I am." I blush in embarassment. Being anxious is one thing, but people noticing it is another. "It's okay to be scared! This happens to be my second! I'm trying to get a single ribbon!" But wait doesn't that mean... "You're going to try and get your first ribbon?" marreco, drake nods. He takes a assento seguinte to me. "Me too." I sigh. There's no way I'm going to get my ribbon if someone else will work very hard for it as well! I hear the doors open behind us. "Drake Oldenburg. You're up seguinte so please standby." A man calls. "Looks like I gotta go." "Drake," I start. He smiles. "Good luck." "You too."

After Drake's contest performance with his Pignite, I gasp. "Man, marreco, drake is really good! I mean really good!" It feels like I'm no match for him. Who knows? Maybe we could be matched up in the segundo round for the Appeal Battles! The doors open again like before. "Victoria Sanders. You're up seguinte so please standby." Oh-no! I'm not ready for this! I'm up after marreco, drake and he's already done with his performance! "Snivy return!" I take Snivy's pokeball out from my dress pocket and it sends her back into it. "I'm ready."

An intern in a black tuxedo leads me behind a giant maroon curtain. I'm thinking this is going to be my entrance. "And seguinte up is a new coordinator on the line! Please welcome Victoria Sanders from Castelia City!" The female announcer shouts on the other side of the curtain with a microphone. I see the curtains pull left and right and it reveals myself to the audience. With my black hair in a ponytail and Pokemon in their pokeballs, I'm ready to make my appeal! "Snivy! Express yourself!" I shout as I run onto the stage. The pokeball with a foca, selo on it opens to make my Snivy appear. "Snivy! Vy!" Snivy makes an entrance from a giant rosa, -de-rosa flower. "Snivy! Use Leaf Tornado!" I command her. My grama Snake turns upside-down with her tail in the air and spining in a circle. Soon, a vortex of leaves appears in the sky. Snivy turns right-side-up. "Now use Vine Whip!" Two long green vines come from Snivy's neck and they grab onto the Leaf Tornado. "Leaf Blade!" I shout. Snivy's leaf on her tail turns a bright green and it slices the tornado various times. The leaves disappear leaving green sparkles behind. Snivy lands on the ground. "Vy! Vy!"
