One day, I decided to try my hand at a nuzzlocke so
I tried it on my very first pokemon game, which was
Pokemon Sun. I chose Litten as my starter and
named it Tip, after my adopted wild cat. I played
through pretty well until I got to Lusamines battle in
Ultra Space. I already knew it was really hard from
past play threws so I had gotten all the way to level 85
before atempting her. Right before the battle, I had to
go to cama so I saved and powered off my 3ds
The seguinte day, I battled Lusamine and it went pretty badly.
The only member off my team that surevived was Tip, so
I sadly boxed the rest. Luckily, I had a couple of the pre-
evolved forms, so I leveled them up and climbed Mount
Lanakila. When I got to the PokeCenter to heal before the
Battle with Hau, the nurse behind the escrivaninha, mesa looked different.
Her hair was red, not pink, and when I talked to her, she said
her name was Nurse Hope. Weirded out, I saved, shut it off
and played some Majora's Mask for a bit.
Finally, when my nerves had settled, I played mais Sun. One
of the options when I talked to Nurse Hope was "What happened
to Nurse Joy?" I pressed it and all she said was "... Go look
outside..." I was confused but when I checked outside the
PokeCenter I noticed a grave a bit ways away. When I wanted
to check it, my A button wouldn't go down until I pressed B
and then pressed A. All the gravestone said was "She was tired
of watching pokemon be killed for fun." I was about to save and
power off the game when a rosa, -de-rosa cruz appeared in front of
my character. Being curious, reckless, and having no real
concern for my own personal being, I pressed A, and the
screen went black. I went to bed.
That night, I awoke in a cold sweat, hearing a light, airy giggle
outside my door. I thought it was my cat, as she loves to meow
at my door at night, I tried to sleep but I heard my door creak
open. A light was coming from out off the door, it was my
3ds. I checked the screen and Nurse Joy was sitting with all of
my team that had died in the battle with Lusamine. Without any
text box, she asked "Don't you regret these lost lives? ANSWER
ME!" I stuttered yes, but she seemed dissatisfied por my answer.
I passed out and watched as she reached out of the screen and
stroked my cheek.
I awoke in a hospital bed, the doctor said I had fainted and had
scars on my cheek from the fall. I felt where the scars were, and
it was where Nurse Joy had stroked my cheek. Ever since then,
I've never done another Nuzzlocke, but her laugh still haunts me
to this day.
