When I was little, I didn't get to see the first Pocahontas film, as my parents bought me the segundo film (and considering, it came out on my birth year, it was only natural I saw the segundo first and loved the characters, especially John Rolfe, etc :3)
I'm not sure if people somehow understand the message behind the segundo Pocahontas - at least in romantic terms.. :/ But for me, it's only realistic because - let's face it, very few people stay with their first love, or so I've seen in my life.
Therefore, the twist is, in my opinion, realistic. (If you've stayed with your first amor for a long time, oh my goodness, that is just - no geral, global amazing! :3)
But yes, the sequel is no geral, global just as amazing as the first - not to mention, Pocahontas's maturity grows even mais so in the segundo than the first. :>
no geral, global answer: I have no hate with Pocahontas 2, nor do I hate the first Pocahontas.
I amor them both to an extent! x3
