Good job on getting that scoop!

How did you find this out? I can’t seem to find any information about the deal beyond that image on the Happy Meal website. Oh well, I guess it being on the Happy Meal website is proof enough!

If only I didn't have to get about four Happy meals in order to satiate my hunger...ah well.

To KowalskiTheLich: Actually, having to get four Happy Meals could be a positive thing. Since there are four penguins, if you got a different toy in each Happy Meal, you not only satisfy your hunger, but unite the force as well!

Heh. That's a good idea, but one thing I noticed about McDonalds is that they always have a set toy to give out each day. Therefore, on Monday they would give out nothing but Skipper, then Tuesday they would only give out Kowalski etc. So I'd probably just get four of the same character!

If they don't add Marlene, Then ill just have to get Kowalski first.

Okay, now all I have to do is save up enough money, and time everything right to get enough happy meals to get one of each toy. XD

To littlebirdy05: One thing you could do is look in your local phonebook for the listings of all the nearby McDonald’s locations. Then you call them up to find out which toy they are giving out with their Happy Meals; not all locations give out the same one at the same time. This saves time and money and may help you to complete the collection, or at least get the toys you want the most.

O,o Well it may save time, but it would cost me quite a bit of money. X] I live in a small town in which there are no McDonalds. The closest one is in the next town, then one in the town after that, but they hand out the same toys. XD

To littlebirdy05: I see. I live in a town where I can name at least six locations within a 10-mile radius!

I know. I thought it was a little creepy as soon as I saw myself jumping up and down in my room and singing: OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!

Indeed it is. I do feel ashamed, though...I don't think I could stand ordering a Happy Meal in front of everyone in the McDonalds.

^ I know what you mean. At least I have nieces I can hide behind. You know, tell the cashier, "My niece wants a Happy Meal." Even so, it's slightly awkward.

Well, I am... um... not a teen, exactly (heh), and I'm not embarrassed at all to order one. In fact, when I was in high school, many of the girls would hop over to McD's for lunch, get a happy meal & bring the toy back to class with them. It was "supah kewl." lmao

Well, they wouldn't play with it on the floor or anything, lol

Just shows how much things change: I remember, in 2nd grade, there was no bigger sin that could be committed than ordering a happy meal. By the time everyone was in HS, it was no big deal. I guess the older you get, the less time people have to sit around & criticize what everybody else is doing. ;)

^ Your high-school friends are awesome. Mine just looked at me weird if I so much as said hi. :-/ Ah, well. I never really care what people my age think.

And yet, I worry that the cashier thinks I'm a freak when I order a Happy Meal. Go figure.

I agree with all of you, I would love to get these toys, but I gotta get the courage to order a happymeal. I'd just feel awkward ording a one for some reason, maybe it's cause I'm WAY to old for one, actually not maybe I know it's cuase I'm to old.

Hey, it took a little bit of courage to walk into Toys “R” Us, walk down to the preschool (or whatever it was) section, take a Skipper and Rico off the shelf, hold their boxes while I stood in line with people ahead of and behind me, and pay for the toys, but I did it!

You just have to think of McDonald’s as a place of business. There’s no age limit to purchase a Happy Meal; if they ask if it’s for you, change the subject or order a Big Mac. The only thing that probably none of us can do at McDonald’s is qualify for their senior citizen discount on coffee.

Yea that's the other thing, I need to build up the courage to go to Toys R Us and get the Rico plushie, that may be harder than I thought though.

XD You people, I'm not afraid to order a happy meal at all. XD OR go to toys r us. I'm just too broke to do that. XD Maybe it's just because I'm just strange. X]

lol, I'll go do it. I did it when they were giving out Ice Age 3 toys. I got the courage to get up there, I just get embarassed actually doing the asking. ^^; I'm too stubborn to say, "Naw, never mind, I'll just order 'em off eBay in a few weeks."

To bumpify this thread, they've released images of the toys! Its just the four penguins; no lemurs, no Marlene, no chimpanzees, and no Blowhole. :(

Ah well, who cares? Ima going to Mickey D's this weekend! :D

Bleh, it doesn't work. :(

From the main page, though, click on the toys tab, then click on the penguins on the right & they should pop up there.

hmmm
Well, my McDonald's officially does not have the PoM toys yet. I asked the girl at the drive-thru tonight (to the boyfriend's utter humiliation lol) & she said she didn't even know they were supposed to get penguin toys. She had no idea what I was talking about. At all. So... I hope it's not just going to be a regional thing? That McD's doesn't even have Alvin & the Chipmunks toys in their Happy Meals (as the site says is the current toy), but a lego toy car. So now I have this car I have no use for, and yeah.... I want the penguins.
