i wuz to little to remember.

I didn't know... it's a real shame.

I was six, and I was just getting used to the comic strip, so I had no idea what the last one had to do with anything. And The main reason he wrote that last one was to annouce his retirement, he died a week later

I wasn't... Sadly enough... I remember.

I was five at the time, so I had no idea who he was.

i was only 3!

I was 11 so I do remember it. I didn't cry but I was sad.

He actually retired before that; he published a one panel comic strip with Snoopy sitting at his typewriter, announcing that he was retiring, but didn't live for much longer after that. (It's most likely he retired because he was ill.)

^^ I hardly knew him either, when i read my first peanuts book, the dust jacket said 1922-2000, So I pretty much knew he died before reading the last comic

Hard to believe it's been nearly 12 years.

I was sad but I did not cry.
