Ok, when she's WITH Lucas, there's no pain there. They were like, uber happy as a couple. Cookie dough fight anyone? But she was pretty annoying in Season 2 without Lucas, but she was AWESOME in Season 3, and happy enough.

With Jake, she was happy.
Sometimes she's happy in season 5. But I think she needs to become more independant. I like Peyton but I'm tired of her only being happy if Lucas likes her. He's only a guy. She has tons of real friends THERE for her. (Haley, Brooke, Mia etc) And she really dosen't deserve the pain Luke gives her anyways so... I think that Lucas doesn't really make her that happy at all. Sure, when they're together they are great but that lasts what? At the maximum five episodes!

when she was with jake

I found when she was with Jake she was so much happier than she was with Lucas. BRUCAS ALL THE WAY

She was happy when her dad was around; she was happy when derek was around; she was happy when jake was around; she was happy when ellie was around; She doesn't like being alone but now she's content with her music. She's just more complete with luke (and if he hadn't told her "I Hate You" in 517, she would have been content while she had to wait for him to get over lindsey since she had her music label at the point).

laurl23, you have the right to your opinion, but if peyton was so much happier with jake, why did she say luke's name in her sleep while she was with jake? I think she was just so in love with luke in s4 that she was terrified half the time while she was happy. I loved her apprehension and her total devotion :)

she was miseranle with out him, but she had good moments too. it didnt seem like she minded much until he had a new gf.
