Ambers POV:
Ring,ring,ring.
My phone rang from a number,I didn't recognize.I hesitated to pick it up off the hotel nightstand,but the mais it rang the mais I my curiosity grew.
I answered it.
"Hello?"
"Yes,This is NYPD.I'm detective Johnson.Is this Amber Rose?Former last name Riley?"
"Yes,"
"I'm calling to inform you that your biological father,Nick Riley and brother Nathan Riley have been searching for you."
My eyes widen and my mind froze.
"Wait what?I have a brother?"
"My apologies,Half brother from your dads segundo marriage."
"Is my mother alive?"I sat down on the hotel bed.
"No mam,she is deceased."
Tears swelled up in my eyes.
"Do you have my dads number?"
"(678) 999-8212."
"Okay,thank you."
Quickly,I dialed in the number.
"Hello,Who is this?"a dusty voice asked me.
"Dad?Is that you?"
"Zoey?"
Whoses zoey,I thought to myself.
"It's Amber."
There was a few moments before he said anything.
"You there?"
"I don't know who you are but your very wrong for calling."
"It really is me,I had a call from detective Johnson from the NYPD.You've been searching for me."
"oh my...."he paused."It really is you."
Tears started to fall from my eyes.
"Where are you?"he asked.
"Miami."I answered him quickly.
"I have enough cash to get a plane ticket,so you can come home.I'll mail it,text me the address."
"okay,dad.I really miss you."
"I do too,I'm so gald I found you."
"I'm glad to."I winced letting a tear from my eye.
"I amor you,bye."he said then ending the call.
Immediately I began to pack back up my suitcase and gather my things off the hotel bed.
"Amber..."Louie cracked open the door."What are you doing?"he asked.
"I can't go to cancun."I looked at him with tears in my eyes.
"Why?Whats wrong?"he asked instinctively.
"And I can't get married to you because I don't know how long I'll be gone."I let the words run out my mouth.I picked my suitcase up and started to walk out.
"What?Amber where are you going?"
"I have to go home."
"What did mrs.rose change her mind you can't go?What are talking about?"he followed me out the hall.
"I can't get married to you,I'm going início to New York."I told him.
"But you'll be alone,I'd go with you but...Just why are you leaving me?"he could barely breathe as he followed me out into the parking lot.
He was starting to get annoying also,I just had to meet my dad.
"God damn it Louis,stop with all the questions."i spat out."I have to go!My dad is alive!I have a family.Thats all I ever wanted a family.I can't stay here any longer."I exploded in frustration.All this was hard to take in,It put me in major stress.
He froze and slump down.
"I thought we were family..."he murrmurred."Just what about us?What about everything we've been through?Amber,anwser me."he spoke up.I could hear the dissapointment in his voice that echoed behind me.
I sighed,and turned around.Tears were nearly falling from his eyes.
"I'm sorry I yelled at you..."I ran my fingers through my hair and continued."I have some figuring out to do,I just don't know who I am anymore.I don't know if I'm Amber rose,Amber Riley,Or Amber Tomlinson.For Gods sake just who am I?"I let the words of frustration run out my mouth.He stepped closer to me,putting his arms around me and wiping my tears with the sleeve of his shirt.

"With the sudden news that he is alive,"i said in his ear."to think that my dad is alive."I paused and put on a slight smile letting another tear fall."It's overwhelming.What about you through?What are you going to do?ill miss you.I wasn't even thinking as I was packing.I was being selfish.I don't want to leave you."
