I'd say in between good and neutral. But this was just really gimmicky and trying too hard to please the audience instead of just trying to be a good story. You have the characters from Frozen that haven't become timeless characters yet because they've only been out for a year, having Emma and Hook go out on a date, having Emma and Hook get together too soon without having them be well-developed or have any real chemistry, having Will Scarlet become a main character even though he serves absolutely NO purpose in the show AT ALL (I don't even know why the hell people like this jackass), having the Snow Queen meet Elsa, showing similarities between Emma & Regina and Anna & Elsa, having Anna and Kristoff get married, making a reference to the Beauty and The Beast scene, showing Belle's mother, BLA BLA BLA! The only great things about the first have of season 4 were Regina and Robin's relationship, the character of Ingrid being introduced, the whole operation whatever that involves finding the writer (which we didn't get to explore a whole lot of), Belle throwing Rumple out of Storybrooke, and getting a look at the villains for the second half of the season (Maleficent, Cruella, and Ursula). They completely ruined Rumple's character and the development he went through in the past three seasons (well, they actually ruined it in the third last episode of season 3 but details, details). He lies to his wife, is willing to put everyone's lives at risk (especially since he was willing to save their lives in season 3) for his own gain, almost killed Hook, tried to sacrifice Emma so he could be free of the dagger, tells his dead son at his grave that he will try to be the man that he and Belle wanted him to be and he does the exact opposite, and even tries to help the villain of this season. Were they trying to lose views on the show? He is one of the two most popular characters on the show (the other being Regina) and they decide to just ruin everything they had developed him as. Why the hell would they do that? Anyway, I wasn't on the edge of my seat to see what would happen next and I didn't think about the show all week like I did with the other seasons. I didn't even think about the season premiere of season 4 at all after the season 3 finale, except to find out what would happen with Regina and Robin. The only episodes where I was on the edge of my seat, couldn't wait to see, and thought about them all week were the last two episodes. Overall it's a mixture between okay and good.

I liked it but I really just do not care for Frozen in general.

Faith-Rulz picked It's great:
KataraLover pretty much said most of it....i dont like how they have destroyed the character development of Rumple turning him into a villain again after everything he did in season 3....seems silly and a bloody ripoff.
For me its been Regina and Robin's relationship, finding the writer (Team Mongoose), the dynamics between Regina and Emma, frenenemies at best.....and the Snow Queen...and i love the actress who plays Anna!! she cracks me up! :D

Honestly i haven't cared much for this season but i love Ingrid a lot so that's good! plus some Regina character development and Belle growing a spine was nice.,I love the idea of who found the book to. Other than that though it was blegh for me.
