i am the only one who hates Merida?

season 5 was just in Netflix so i am barely starting it. And the first moment Merida showed up i was mad. She felt so out of place and her character annoyed me big time. There were another out of place characters like Dr Frankenstein and Cruella De Vil,but their characters were well handeled (and at least there was an effort to explain why Cruella is from another world). Her character gives little to the plot even if she takes a lot of screentime,she did nothing that another character couldn't. I survived the awful Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante storyline cause The Snow queen was ..cool i guess. But Merida seems the most interesting character in her storyline (what,at least to me,is nothing at all). Plus,i hate how she is portrayed,like Elsa and Anna they look like the work at disney world ,for me,she look so stupid to be taken seriously . But anyway,i want to ask if i am the only one to feel like that
