When I had a facebook account of Narcissa (the only one, I believe, before they erased them all...) I chose Naomi Watts for most of the pictures of her. She just fit her well. Too bad she's not playing her in the movies. Oh well.

I know a lot of people who wanted Natasha Richardson to be Narcissa but she's gone now. I think her sister would be great too.

Maybe if they actually did something else with her makeup to make her younger then maybe otherwise no.

No you don't, Persephone713. You don't need to be from the UK for fans to have imagined Narcissa like you. Every one of us is aware that WE don't do HP casting and that Rowling insisted on British actors. By the way, Naomi has Irish origins. Never mind.
And I totally picture Narcissa as Naomi+a good costume designer+good make up. Pity.

KIM WOULD MAKE A GOOD ONE

when I saw "Sleepy Hollow" ages ago I thought "Wow, Lady van Tassel(Miranda Richardson) looks just exactly how I pictured Narcissa...wish that actress could play her!!" I also knew her from "Merlin" so I thought it would be perfect because she's really good at witches and villians

When the promotion for the 4.movie started I read that she was part of the cast and I was freaking out because I thought she would be Narcissa. But we all know what happened....Narcissa didn't appear at all in movie nr 4 (nor did her sister Bellatrix) and Miranda Richardson played Rita Skeeter hahahahaha funny how things can turn out.....

But it's great that they gave Helen McCrory a second chance after she couldn't play Bellatrix. I think she would have made a good Bellatrix too...

I always imagined Mrs. Malfoy as an icy blonde, tall, blue-eyed, elegant and cool, beautiful .. the Nordic ideal of beauty (the opposite of bellatrix, hot and sexy) ... it is clear that for this type of character you can not just choose the same first choice for an actress to her sister Bellatrix! .. but oh well never mind, there'd be three years for insulting the movies .... i have always been torn between Naomi Watts and Nicole Kidman, but .. may choose Jolie Richardson because she has traits more similar to Malfoy, Draco and Lucius, would do well even if Watts (one hundred thousand times better than Helen.. that has to do with the little Cissy Helen?); I voted Richardson why is she in my head Narcissa, and she is English too! (Naomi is also English by birth but lives in Australia)! I don't understand why they have choose Helen!! There are many blonde actresses in England!!!!!
