Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle isn't made by Disney, it's made by I think Warner Brothers and is much darker than the newer Disney film.

That's why it says Disney-ish. Most people associate the story of The Jungle Book with the animated one.

I'm looking forward to this because it's going to be A LOT closer to the book than the Disney version was. I love Disney and I love Walt Disney but he actually told the people working on The Jungle Book NOT to read the book. I realize that adaptations can't be exactly like the source material in order for them to work, but saying not to even read the book you're basing your movie on is as insulting as you can get.

I don't think this one will even come close to the original Mary Poppins, but I think the cast is very promising & it looks charming.

couldn't really care less about the other one, tbh. I'll probably see it but am in no rush to.
