The Last Airbender is a 2010 action film that was based on a beloved show of the same name. The film got really bad reviews, but I actually really liked the film.

I only saw clips of the animated show before watching the live action film so I'm judging this film por itself instead of comparing it to the show. I still haven't watched any full episodes, but I did enough research to understand the plot and characters.

The film focuses on Aang who's the avatar. He's discovered por a duo of siblings, Katara and Sokka, who become his friends. It's up to them to save the world from the evil fogo Nation. Zuko, the son of the fogo Lord, and Zhao, the fogo Lord's segundo in command, are up to no good.

The film has been mocked for combining the whole first season of the show into one film. I personally thought this risky decision paid off well. The film was filled with exciting storylines and action scenes. Aang, Katara, Sokka, and the antagonists each get a subplot and all of them are interesting.

There's a lot of compelling characters in the film. Aang, Katara, and Sokka are all likeable and fascinating heroes and the villains are epic and threatening. Aang and Katara have a strong friendship in the film that was nice to see. Zuko was a well written and sympathetic villain which balanced well with the mais cruel Zhao. Zuko and his uncle have a nice bond and their family relationship is emotional. From what I've heard about the show the fogo Lord barely appears in the show which is a unforunate problem that happens in shows and films where the "main" villain has his children and sidekicks do everything for him. Although the fogo Lord is pretty lazy in the film he has a fair amount of screentime which was a nice surprise. Azula has an awesome cameo that makes me wish that the film got a sequel.

Argubaly the film's biggest standout quality is the visuals. There are very few live action scenes as impressive looking as this film. The scenes of Aang practicing fight moves are visually impressive. The special effects of Katara's water powers look amazing! I was blown away por the fantastic sets and awesome action scenes. Although I miss and amor Roger Ebert I disagree with him about the film's visuals. It was a wonderful treat to look at the film.

I can understand why fãs don't like the film. From what I've heard about the show it sounds like the film doesn't represent it very well. However this film shouldn't be mocked just because it doesn't resemble the show. The film has a compelling plot, interesting characters, and some of the best visuals ever put to film. I recommend this underrated masterpiece.

Christopher Nolan directed three films that starred Christian Bale as Batman. Those films are often considered to be the best batman films. The Dark Knight, in particular, is an extremely beloved film. It has gotten to the point that some people act like the batman films that came before The Dark Knight trilogy aren't good. That's a feeling that I disagree with. This artigo is for showcasing the things in The Dark Knight trilogy that I like, as well as the things that I have a problem with.

The Good Things In The Trilogy:

Hans Zimmer's música has a big, epic feel to it. It helps bring the atmosphere...

Elijah: Part 3 (Razilee and Elijah) New Trailer
Elijah: Part 3 (Razilee and Elijah) New Trailer
The third installment to the Razilee and Elijah franchise finally made a reveal notice after 7 months of absence. The reveal was a daunting 27 segundos worth of new content that showcases and promises de praia, praia scenes, snowboarding, and new areas unexplored from the franchise. Though we also got a glimpse of Elijah perched on a forest floor, he seemingly was rested and quietly reserved and the trailer seemed to be a reminiscent teaser tied with Haunting vocals from the first film.

Though there were notable and unexplained changes. The third film is either being renamed/or showcased as "Elijah: Part 3" and Razilee was absent from the teaser. Not only, but the release encontro, data for the film calls for an October release rather than the anterior two films which were released respectively in September 2019 and September 2020.

What do you think of the new film teaser?

If you are in PST time, the teaser trailer might not be showcased until May 8, 2021 at 9:00AM

Everyone resists authority at some point in their life. The world is full of rebels fighting against evil for the sake of “good”, right? Okay, maybe I’ve just seen too many filmes about the rise of the underdog, but this theme can certainly make for a compelling piece of entertainment.

The latest to catch attention is the female-led indie action-thriller short, “THE RESISTANCE.” It stars ANNA FRANKL-DUVAL and Lenore Marks as best friends fighting a totalitarian authority now in command of the United States.

“The Resistance” has screened at the Portland Film Festival, Berkshire...

New Yorkers amor a good pizza. It’s a classic taste of the city -- and so are the owners of the local pizzeria shops. But, what happens when you get a well-intentioned younger generation moving into the neighborhood and looking for a change?

This culture clash is the subject of the indie short film “The Kids Menu,” pitting a young mother (Nyle Lynn) on a mission to get a kids-friendly menu against a steadfast, traditional pizzeria owner ("Soprano's" favorito Vincent Pastore).

Directed por Paul Borghese and penned por Richard Vetere, the film has become a stand-out on the festival circuit,...
