Does anyone know the título or someone who played a key role in this film....it was made in the 80's or early 90's ? Look down below for description.

It was about big rig's/cars coming alive to take over the world and a group of kids and a few adults were held up in a pit stop/food place and they had to make a run for it to get to a military base for safety and to fight. The lead big rig truck was black and had a green joker face or something similar on the grill. The trucks don't come alive like in the film transformers but they can drive themselves and control other stuff as well.
