yep i've seen it before remembered the pipoca scene not for the typical fã who like sugary films this one could be disturbing to you. personally i liked the film it was well acted, the disturbing bit to me wasn't so much what misha did in his role as paul but that it was based on actual events. karla was the worst and that came across from the start she should of got life for her involvement

The movie “Karla” is disturbing beyond anything. I saw it on Lifetime about a mês ago, and what I saw was the edited version, I’d hate to see the actual movie. Misha was right to tell his fãs not to watch it. It’s not uplifting. It’s depressing, and from what he said in an interview, the director was a creep, after production was shut down the crew took a restraining order out on him, the director. Just, don’t watch it. It’s not a good movie to watch.

I saw it on Lifetime as well. It was disturbing. Misha’s atuação was great, but it was just very odd to see him playing a role like that.

I watched it accidentally actually. And I wasn't going to watch it, in regards to Misha asking his minions to not watch it. Yes, it was very disturbing to me. I couldn't finish it actually/

The unedited version is really dark.

I saw the movie and I could not get over the filthy language that came from Misha. I was surprised at how versatile this actor really was. Misha, himself, said that while filming this movie, he had nightmares, and he had impure thoughts about young girls while going for jogs in the morning. After the filming was over, the nightmares and the impure thoughts went away. But the memory of what he had to do, lasted for a while. He was right in telling people not to watch it. I can never watch it again. Once was enough.

ya, i've seen the movie. i watched it only because i knew misha was in it, and i was really afraid that it would be too hard to watch, you know. But even if the story was sad and awful, it really didn't leave me thinking "negatively" about misha, because of course after all it was just acting, and he did a great job with his character, paul bernardo. his performance was just stunning, and everyone knows it's a hard role, so yeah, i really recommend the movie :)

The movie portrayed Karla as a victim, you should read up on the actual facts, she was a manipulative liar and had absolutely no remorse for her actions. She was denied parole because of this, to this dia she still hasn't apologised to the families. Most of the stuff about the Lunatic weas left out of the film, like how much she joined in! she deserved life! link

Yeah I saw it a while back but I never finished it.
As far as Misha is concerned, he was very good, as usual.
But as a movie, I would never recommend it. I could not watch the whole thing as it was disturbing beyond belief. I applaud Misha for telling us not to watch it.
Unfortunately, as much as I hate to speak badly of something starring Misha, I regret watching it.

Yes I did and it was REALLY DISTURBING!! When I met Misha at the Chicago con I told him that I was SO HAPPY to see him playing a good guy since I saw him play a bad one in Karla. He told me that it was really hard for him to play that part and that it was really disturbing to him as well even off the set. He breathed a sigh of relief when it was over!! That makes 2 of us!!! For the record he also said he would advise his fãs NOT to watch it!! I agree!! lol

Just saw it, acutally, and the difference between Paul and Cas is so great that, in my mind, Misha has surpassed Jensen as being the most talented actor on Supernatural.

Then I suggest you re-evaluate your mind, Shomill😁 Misha is talented definitely but Jensen is por far the most talented on the show, actually on the whole network. Did you know he has /three/ emmy nominations to his name before he even started SPN? That too for playing a character mais like Sam than Dean. It was to the extent that people thought he can't do comedy, but look at him now. Sorry but Misha hasn't surpassed that

I saw the movie when it first came out. And it was my first real Misha movie, actually paying attention to him as an actor. He was really awesome in the role.

Yes the movie was disturbing and the story behind the movie was as well. But I did like the movie and both him and Laura did a good job atuação in it.

Karla is a movie about the serial killer couple Karla Holmolka and Paul Bernardo. Karla was apart of most of the crimes but also was a victim of Paul's brutal abuse. Paul (Misha Collins) he was mais involved into the crime but Karla (Laura Prepon) was an accessory to the murders.

Misha felt very disturbed leitura the script especially sense he doesn't have a violent side misha says everyone has that seed of rage that comes but i had to let it out while filming and it took me awhile to figure out how but once I did I shocked my self cause I never new I had the ability to do that and I cried after every scene that I had to beat up a girl I had nightmares for months and just playing a character like that was hard because I never hit anyone when I was mad or anything so this roll was very challenging for me and everyone needs to see the different ways of life people live and this was a good opportunity but please don't see Karla it's very disturbing and nasty and definitely not me or something I would do

I have recently seen the film Karla because I had wanted to see mais of Misha Collins outside Supernatural. Let me just say, it was one of the most disturbing films I have ever seen. I am a film student and have been trained to evaluate not just how I felt about a movie but to look past it to determine if something is good. I wish I had not seen this movie. It is deeply troubling. Misha played the role well but it was incredibly hard for him to actually find distinctions between him and his character until after the filming was actually finished. Misha actually doesn't want people to watch this film. He was disturbed por what it brought out in him and feared that he was offending the families of the victims of Paul Bernardo. Also, the director was totally unhinged during the filming and actually found some of the rape and torture scenes to be "hot." Please don't watch this movie, especially if you have any experience with rape and sexual assault because this is an extremely triggering movie. I even had to fast progressivo, para a frente through almost all of the rape and torture scenes because of how disturbing the are.
