What makes him a hero??
Having been raised on stories of Takezo Kensei, the sword saint Hiro comes into the hero buisness with a child's concept of heroism. It's not so naive, though when you realsise these child-like values always seem to read him to the right decision. Hiro believes saving the world is mais inportant than obeying his fathers orders to come home; that using his powers to win at gambling is just as bad as killing a man who is asking for forguveness; and that his futre self has come too comfortable with killing.He even does his best to give up the girl of his dreams for the sake of his hero, Kensei.

What could make him a villain??
Any son wants to avenge his fathers murder, so it's no suprise that Hiro goes after Adam. When he finally catches up with the immortal killer, Hero realises that he is mais determined to save the world than to enact revenge. Only futre hiro even remotly resembles a villain. Toughened por loss and disilusionment, labled a terrorist por the government, future Hiro is capable of killing when necessary - yet even he is devoted to saving the world por changing the past.

What makes him a Hiro??
Despite his herritage of ambition and power, Peter has never wanted to do anything but help others and help make the world a better place. he truley believes that he is meant for something extraordinary. When Peters empathic ability gives him mais power than anyone on earth, he doesn't care about Power itself, he just wants to save the people he loves - Which for peter pretty much includes the whole world!

What could make him a Villain??
At his most violent, Peter nearly strangles the treacherous thief, Will, who tried to murder him and his friends. Without a Nathan or Caitlin, Peter might well be capable of killing if he thought he had a good reason. Yet perhaps there's a worse side of Peter than someone who can protect the ones he loves. This worse version of him may be future Peter sitting in a bar in Las Vegas while the world tears itself apart - a disillusionist man who no longer cares.

How to stop an exploding man

CLAIRE

What makes her a Hiro??
Claire's first practical use of her power is saving a man from a burning rail-car. When she is not playing with nail scissors and garbige disposals, she uses her power mais often to help others. This has included running into a burning building to stop Ted from turning nuclear, and breaking Wests fall when Elle stuns them. Even driving Brody into a hugh speed car crash is her extreme way of stopping him from hurting other girls.

What could make her a villain??
Claire is at her most dangerous when she, or someone she loves is hurt. She's not exactly been level-headed when she's been hurt and she is prone to ill-advised choices. She goes along with West's plans to trick Debbie, not because the bullying chearleader needs a fall from grace but because she stands in the way of Claire and west's relationship. She doesn't think about consequences, like attracting the attention of the company. Who knows what else she might do if she gets mad enough?

NATHAN

What makes him a hero??
For most of Nathans life, his choices were governed por the expectations of his family and political friends. He wants political power so he can do good in the world, and also because it's what his family expects. Nathan commits most of his heroic act - saving NEw York from a neclear Peter - because Claire demands that he do the right thing, and even mais because Peter trusts him to. Only after his ordeal does he begin to see clearly - that listening to his mother and her allies has never brought anything good.

What could make him a villain??
Like his parents before him, Nathan has made his share of shady deals, like going along with Lindermans plans to put him in thw Whithouse, even though he believes letting millions of people die is insane. And he still has a touch of Petrelli arrogance - The certanty that his choices are right. If he ever starts to believe that God wants him to save the world por destroying it (a plan we heard of a couple of times already.), he'll become an agent of Gods will and start trying to destroy the world.
