Michael went into the bedroom and sure enough Brooke was just waking up from her sleep. He crept into cama seguinte to her and kissed her forehead, “Hey sleepy head,” He smiled.
“Hi Michael,” Brooke replied barely able to open her eyes. Michael sat her up in his arms.
“Hehe I hope you’re all rested up now because there’s something I wanna show you,”
“Show me? Um ok,” Brooke yawned. Michael got off the cama and picked her up in his arms, “Come on beautiful I’ll carry you,”
Brooke chuckled and was about to reply when the phone rang, “Aww man who could that be?” Michael asked, putting Brooke down to answer the phone, “Hello?”
“Hi this is uh… Brooke’s brother…uh c-can I talk to her?” the peculiar voice asked.
“Um…yeah sure,” Michael replied seeming unsure, “It’s for you baby girl I’ll be downstairs when you’re done ok,” Michael said, handing the phone to Brooke and walking out of the room.
“Uh, Hello?” Brooke said curiously.
“Hey there sexy, guess who?” The voice asked.
“How the hell did you get this number Matt?” Brooke asked.
“Simple, your father; you know he agrees with me, we both feel that you deserve someone better than that freak Michael,”
“HE’S NOT A FREAK! GET THAT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULL!” Brooke shouted.
“Oh but he is… and you’re going to leave him too,”
“Says who?” She asked sarcastically.
“Says me…that is…if you want your little baby to live,” Matt said with an evil chuckle
“Wh-What are you talking about Matt?” Brooke asked trying to sound fearless but was shaking helplessly.
“Leave him Brooke or I will guarantee you that your baby will not live to see mais than a week max,” Brooke started to panic, sliding against the mural onto the ground in a huddle,
“No you can’t do that… stay away from us and our baby Matt or so help me I will knock you into the seguinte century,”
“Oh but…you can’t do that… see I’ve become very close to your father and the rest of your family and…it would just be such a shame if anything should happen to any of them,”
“Matt leave them alone they didn’t do anything wrong,”
“Then you listen to me Brooke; you won’t tell anyone of this conversation…especially not Jacko, and you will tell him it was just your brother making sure you were safe… you will tell Michael you are leaving him exactly one week later and you will come início to me. Or so help me that baby will be gone,” With that Matt slammed down the phone. Brooke, with what little strength she had left, attempted to walk over to the bedside mesa, tabela to put the phone down. Oh god please….please wake up,” Michael begged helplessly, crying onto her shoulder, holding her close and carressing her hair.
Michael layed her back down onto the cama and called out for help. Soon enough someone came in to check on her, “She’s just had a little bit of a scare but she should be ok Mr. Jackson. Just keep a close eye on her, let her rest and keep her cool and she’ll be fine.” Michael sniffled a little from the tears,
“Th-Thank you for your help. I’m not letting her out of my site until she’s ok again.” Michael reassured himself, not taking his eyes off of Brooke. The man simply nodded and left the room for Michael to be alone with her. Michael layed down seguinte to Brooke, holding in his tears as he lifted the sheets over them, cuddled up to her and watched her sleep; praying to God that she will be ok.

During raposa News’ coverage of the event, Rivera said, “The vast majority of the people in the hall and certainly ninety-nine of celebrities who have come to this memorial did not stand anywhere near Michael Jackson during the years he was accused of those horrible crimes, and they didn’t say, ‘We believe him innocent, they didn’t say let the case go where it may, let the facts prove innocence or guilt.’ They just disappeared, and now they have resurfaced to celebrate his life.”
Rivera continued, “That is entirely fitting I’m sure, but I personally can’t get over the memory of 2005. When Michael Jackson stood essentially alone and accused and convicted in the minds of many of the most perverse crime.”
