Kei (Hangul: 케이) was born Kim Ji-yeon (Hangul: 김지연) on March 20, 1995 (age 22) in Incheon, South Korea.[30] In December 2015, Kei released a track entitled "Love Like That" for the soundtrack of the KBS drama Oh My Venus. She later released a track "Shooting" for soundtrack MBC drama Lucky Romance on May 25, 2016. Kei started her acting career in 2016 with played lead role in web-drama "Matching! Boys Archery Club".[46] She was cast on JTBC's Girl Spirit female idol singing show which began airing on July 19, 2016.[47]
