i would say follow your heart if your friends like him (because parents have high standards)but even your friends say that he's not.... he's just using u,

If your parents AND your friends don't like him...chances are there is something their seeing that your overlooking. Make sure to ask them why they don't think he's good for you.Don't get defensive because they aren't attacking you,their looking out for you(hopefully...I'm assuming you friends and family are nice,caring people)

DON'T AND I MEAN DON'T start a secret relationship with the guy,sry but that's one of the stupidest things to do in a situation like this. Your parents/friends could be right but if you ignore them and secretly be with the guy,chances are it will be hard to get out of that relationship...so please don't take this risk!

On the otherhand this guy could easily be good for you but before you do anything with him try to get him around your friends and family so he'll have a second chance....if they still feel the same way....then forget him and move on. If your still in school...focus your attention on your school work/grades...that's more important for now....

talk with your parents. Ask them why they don't like him. If they have serious reasons, think twice before doing something that you'll regret. If they don't or if you still want to be with this guy, tell your parents what you're feeling and that you decide who you hang out with. :)
