Does he REALLY like me...?

so there's this guy I like/Love. We've known each other for 3 years. He ALWAYS teases me (and I mean ALWAYS) we've been in the same class for EVERYTHING (we still are in Elementary school after all) we we always talk. The thing is, I hate him & he hates me. He does talk/flirt with one of my friends and she does the same to him. so last ano he found out that i like him and it felt weird ever since. Today both my friends told me when i was out of school one dia he walked up to my friends and told them he likes me. But i don't believe my friends. so.... can you help? :)
