I told him I liked him but.....

I've liked this guy who works in my local comprar so I finally built up the courage to give him a note which said 'I Like You' but I walked out of the comprar before he opened it. After a few days I went back up and he was there. I asked him could I talk to him about it so we spoke for a few minutos and he told me that he had a girlfriend and he said 'Dont get me wrong your a cute girl, but unfortunately I have a girlfriend' He was reaallyy cool about it like he wasn't stuck up or snobby. But what I really want to know Is why did he say 'Unfortunately I have a girlfriend? Does it mean unfortunately for you?? Im really confused bou this

I not Too good with this sort of thing, but here is what i think! it could mean one of three things : either he likes you but dont want to admit it or is feeling confused about his feelings towards you... or it could mean that its unfortunate for you, in other words, you will never get him! Give him time to work out how he feels, who knows he might just surprise you!

Yeah, it likely was an "unfortunately for you" thing. He was probably just being sweet and apologizing to you for having to say no. Nothing mais than that.

Usually, in general speaking... it would mean unfortunate for you. But if there really is something hidden between him and his girlfriend that you don't knoe about, then it means unfortunate for him. But you can't give up if u really have feelings for him.
Little word of advice, when ur crush says words like that, or anything that might confuse u or upset you or whatever, don't get worked up about it. Usually in general talking, people just say stuff like that without even thinking about it.
