I like the idea! Unfortunately, I'm really bad at writing poems, anyway I'll give it a shot:

Some where sad, some full of joy
But what was going to happen, they couldn't know

Oh, we're not going for a poem that rhymes then?

Finding a way home was their goal,
so to send a distress signal they had to go.

so i really liked marissa's first two lines so i added those lines to my poem. so the first two lines credited to marissa, the rest fully written by me. i worked hard! but im still not done with it yet. - csi_lost_fan33 (Kaila)

One fine day, passengers good and alive,
Boarded Oceanic flight 8 1 5.

The button Desmond failed to press,
Brought the passengers into a great big mess.

And onto an island they all came,
Trying to survive was their aim.

And they all looked to the doctor Jack,
To lead them together as a pack.

But on this mysterious island unusual things started to begin,
And at first it was hard to communicate with Sun and Jin.

Sawyer started his famous nicknames, especially Freckles to Kate,
But the island chose their own fate.

Locke and his faith brought him a long way,
To walk once again and on the island to stay.

Charlie the rockstar and Claire became friends kind and true.
And Hurley with his numbers 4 8 15 16 23 and 42.

Creepy Ben will give you a fright,
And Sayid will put up a rough fight.

And later on Juliet from the Others came along,
And with help from Jack the hope of getting off the island stayed strong.
