Why not just call this the Callian episode?
Why not just call this the Callian episode?
Last weeks episode got us back into the basic balanço of things...and this week it reminded us of exactly how much emotion this show can carry. And this episode bared it all. Callian fãs will be extatic with this episode, and while I still don't exactly support their ship...I certainly respect it a heck of a lot more.
This episode was all about Cal and Gillian's relationship, nothing mais and nothing less. (Unless you count the explosions and armas as 'something more')

I won't run over the episode plot, but I will briefly talk about the key scenes in this episode.

We literally start things off with...

Wow. Just wow.

I cannot even begin to describe this episode because there's so much to describe.
Let's start with a plot overrun.
Eric Matheson, a man suspected of killing his wife, is brought in for questioning por the Lightman Group. Determined to prove his innocence, he takes drastic measures that put the team’s lives in danger in the “Honey” episode of LIE TO ME airing Monday, Oct. 19 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Ok. So that's the Episode Synopsis, but it's literally the plot withought delving into the characters emotional devlopment this episode!

Cal slowly came through his sleepy haze and immediately his hands started groping around for the soft warmth of his anterior nights lover – Gillian – God, what a woman, he still couldn’t quite get over how abandoned she had become…

His still sleepy musings were cut into por the fact that his hands hand not found the object of his memories.

Lifting his head and scanning the room Cal was a little surprised to find no sign of her. He let his head drop back and grinned, probably already in the cozinha sorting out his breakfast in her normal ‘mothering’ way.

Throwing on a deep maroon silk...

As her head shot up from the menu, her eyes met those hazel lasers that were Cal Lightmans eyes.

Realizing that her mouth was open but nothing audible was making an appearance, she quickly closed it.

She was however, unable to break the lock of eyes that Cal had instigated.

“I’ll take that as a no then”

With the total air of authority that always seemed to surround him, the minuto Cal raised his hand a waiter seemed to materialise out of thin air.

“Yeah, can I get this mesa, tabela set up for two please, I’ll have a single malt and just bring the bottle of whatever Dr Foster here is drinking...

Gillian sat on the very edge of Cals bed, her still damp hair sitting against the colarinho, colar of the camisa he had given to change into. Cal had insisted she used his on suite bathroom whilst he had shuffled off to the main one, both of them having decided that after all the events of the day, a good hot chuveiro was called for.

She found herself taking in the full impact of the situation whilst she was still on her own.

She, Gillian Foster, was sitting on Cal Lightman’s bed, her body covered only in his shirt, about to slip between his sheets, rest her head his on his pillows,…and soon, very soon,...

After mais than a few hours sleep, Gillian had woken to find that the ‘fog’ that had evaded her head in the last 24hrs or so was starting to thin out, just a little.

Ordering a room service breakfast she had re-evaluated her previous, some what ‘knee jerk’ decision to simply use this hotel as a quick staging post before taking off - god knows where, in an effort to further the distance between her and Cal.

The hotel was a good one.

It had a beautiful pool, a totally over indulgent spa section and was set in exquisite surroundings.

There were few guests at this time of year, and so, she...

I don't know what to call this article, because I just need to get this out of my system. You don't have to read this, no one is making you. (Unless you happen to be Tim Roth, and tied to my chair with duct tape over your mouth, then ya, I AM forcing you to read this) But in the HIGHLY unlikely event that you are...(for now)...feel free to leave at any time.

So...Lie to Me*. It has aired 4 episodes so far, and already each of them are single handidly better than all episodes of House combined. There is something about this show that will have a huge impact on my life, but I'm never going to...

Once again, I have got to say that I just LOVED this episode! (It might not count, concidering the fact that I amor EVERY episode) but this just a great episode. It was funny, intence, dramatic, INTERESTING, and Tim once again performed effortlessly. It was simply; amazing.

Brief Overview:
We begin with a quick opening scene with Cal and a group of guys all pointing armas at eachother, and "He's lying" is said por none other, and he get's shot. Oh dear Lord, he get's shot. WTF?!?!
After opening credits we see the subtitle '28 hours earlier' telling us that thankfully this hasn't happened yet, but...

AKA: The Red Door.
This was another absolute brilliant episode, even if I'm not really a big fã of the war, it's effects, ect. However, the writers did another fantastic job at holding my attention from opening scene to end credits.

From the opening scene I thought I was watching an episode of Criminal Minds, but it quickly took a mais psychological turn and Cal took over.
This episode introduced a neat new "Virtual Reality" senario, and Gillian's interest in that area, so I really hope we see mais on that rather than just being a one time thing...because let's face it, it WAS really cool.

Another mind blowing episode for another mind blowing season. I know I sound like a broken record, but it's true. (No pun intended)

And I can tell you, that I am extremley happy to finally have an episode dedicated to Ria and not just the relationship between Cal and Gillian. *Sigh of relief*

Now, I amor Ria. In all ways. I think she's an amazing character, and I really wish that she had mais screentime, so you can imagine my excitement when she was actually in the show for mais than 2 scenes. *Yay*

I had heard roumours(?) about Ria's half sister for a while, and I'm glad to finally see it happen,...

A couple of months ago, I was asked if I'd like to host an maçã, apple Store Q&A with Tim Roth to help promote the segundo season of his raposa procedural, LIE TO ME. Even though I'd only watched the pilot and maybe one other episode, I immediately accepted the offer, figuring I could quickly catch up with what had only been a half-season run. I also figured I'd be a fool to turn down the opportunity to sit up on a stage lobbing perguntas at one of the most boundlessly talented actors working today.

On LIE TO ME, Roth plays Dr. Cal Lightman, a "human lie detector" or sorts who can...

A Game Played Alone

She loved him, but that wasn't enough.

He searched for the truth, but he didn't want to hear it.

She loved him but she wasn't enough.

He wanted poppy, roulette, games, challenge.

She was solitaire, no challenge in that.

Nothing to raise the pulses, kick in the adrenaline.

Why couldn't she be poppy?

Just for one night.

Entice him, excite him.

How would it feel, his hands wrapped in her hair.

His eyes devouring her body as she lay naked on the cama before him.

His body pushing against hers, pushing into hers, harder, deeper.

His stubble raking hers breasts, arousing her nipples in readiness...

The sudden glare of the overhead lights blazing into life shocked both of them as much as a gunshot would have. Both heads turned in unison as the passionate almost trance like haze they had been in was shattered, and there, standing in doorway looking almost as shocked as they were, was Emily….

“Err… I was just…err, well, looking for you dad, I just,,errr was wondering when you wanted to go….Sorry, I…I’ll just “ The door was abruptly closed.

“Shit” Cal started to disentangle himself from Gillian “Oh bollocks” as he stabbed his foot on the ‘lie detector’ on the floor...

Cal sat in the semi darkness. Most of the lights in the office now turned off, and the last of the staff long since gone home.
The soft filtered light of his escrivaninha, mesa lamp was shining down on the files scattered across the surface. His pathetic attempt at a reason for staying so late at work as he had so many evenings lately.

Emily was off on her first un parented holiday with some friends. He was concerned obviously, but ultimately he knew his daughter would be ok. Despite everything she had grown up with common sense and he knew he could trust her. No, any fears he might entertain about Emily were...

Ria knew it was late. Or early, whichever way you looked at it. The night gave off a subtle glow of approaching day, its stars dimming, but the streets were still empty except for the occasional hurried car. The air on the balcony numbed her senses, cleared her mind as she was hoping it would, but the panic was still felt under the surface, ready to break through her carefully built...

The season finale already?!?! What happened!? That was the fastest 13 episodes of my life! It began on Wedsnday January 21st....and ended Wedsnday May 13th. I CAN'T WAIT FOR SEASON 2!!

Now, on a serious observational note, this episode was VERY case heavy due to it's intensity. Hello, bombings are a very serious issue, and I have to give kudos to the writers of this episode for gracefully playing this show around such a touchy subject matter. But lets begin!

We begin with a VERY House like beginning. Almost the same music, and everything that's expected to happen, does. The bus blew up! This...

After last weeks 'somewhat slow' episode, this week follows up with a formula it knows how to do well. It WAS, predictable, I'm not going to lie (sorry), but it was good. And when it comes to a show like this, it means it was amazing.

Now I'm going to say right off the bat, I found myself smiling like an idiot when I watched the opening scene between Cal and Gillian. The way they played off of eachother was a real treat to watch, and even how they handled the situation after the fact was something else. (I, for one, never thought Cal would bring up Gillians "fib"; "So you like being tied up?"...

Zoe returned this week, and I hope to see her stick around for a little longer!
Another week, and another fantastic episode. From what I can recall, this show has never had one single 'bad' episode. Each week, after the most amazing, bone chilling, jaw dropping episode, it comes back with even mais to give. This show just keeps getting better every week.
And after an episode like last weeks? I don't know how it manages to keep things so fresh, and amazing........but it does.

Now, I've noticed a trend over the past few episodes (including the last few before the 5 mês break) and that would be just the ONE story. Just one case to focus on, with 2 different perspectives....

Already the segundo season finale?? Where did this season go?
Oh, I remember now.

*Rant Ahead* - Ye be Warned.

I know plenty of people who were completely thrown off of Lie to Me because of the idiot decision raposa made to extend this season while it's original '13 episode' season was almost done.
By doing that, it shortened the 'intended' season down to 10 episodes, and what followed after that was a 6 mês hiatus so the writers and everyone involved could pick up the order.
However the GOOD news, is that Season 3 returns alot SOONER than usual. (So far the encontro, data is set for November 10th, but don't...

Just had this artigo pop up on my computer (I have a Tim Roth Alert thing) Apparently there is this guy who belongs to a Comic Book Movie fã Site and he has decided that he has his own idea of re-casting the film The Incredible Hulk.
His comment on his choice is as follows:

"He looks just like Tim Roth and could totally do a great Blonsky." (See fotografia at bottom)
Well I admit that I wear glasses, I have tried looking at this pix with and without them. I have tried closing one eye - then the other - Rose tinted Specs- I have tried upside down and sideways.....The ONLY conclusion I can come to is that the person that posted this 'effort' is the one taht needs glasses!!!!
I mean, COME ON PEOPLE, I am not saying the guy in the pix is ugly or anything BUT...
No sexy, slightly wicked sparkle in the eyes. No charismatic, almost magnetic humour that our Mr Roth exudes.
Is it just me - can ANYONE see ANY similarity ????
