Agreed. I will say though that there WERE times when I did see Brooke's side of things. Whether or not that sympathy remained is another story... but nevertheless, it was still there during some moments!

One time that really comes to mind in which I somewhat understood Brooke's POV was that period at the end of season 3, when Peyton kind of expected Brooke to prove her love for Lucas. In which case, I thought was absurd. Brooke didn't owe Peyton anything, especially in regards to proving her love for her own boyfriend. So IMO, Peyton asking her to do that was a bit much. And I think Peyton of ALL people should have known how strong Brooke's feelings for Lucas were.

And then there was 3x22 when Peyton DID very much "twist Brooke's words", by claiming that Brooke said she really didn't miss Lucas while he was away. Which she never said at all. So I can understand why that would piss Brooke off as well. :)

Like Moosh said, It seems like everytime I'd feel sorry for her, she act like a complete witch and I'd lose all my sympathy for her.
I think the only moment where I actually agreed with her was when Peyton twisted her words around, but she still had no right to treat Peyton like complete crap afterwards.

^This mostly. But in 3x22 I did feel sorry for her. Lucas never let her all the way and it was clear that she tried her best to be there for him but he wouldn't let her. So I sympathize with her but then she makes a cruel comments and all the sympathy flew out of the window.

LOL, I don't know if I count as Leyton fan because I was always team Brooke aka my favorite character, and I actually shipped BL over LP in s2-3. As of now I actually hate BL, and love LP(+BJ). But rewatching some episodes I still remain team Brooke in anything ;)

I always thought that she was a lost girl who had an unhealthy obsession with Lucas, not love. She was also selfish, neglecting the fact that Lucas loved Peyton and Peyton loved Lucas.
