3x13; I just watched this episode and FUCK. Like this is a girl that lost her mom at such a young age and then she gets a second chance with another mom, only to have her die as well and WOW did Hil make you feel that pain and that anguish. The second Peyton enters the house and calls for Ellie and then gets all scared when she realizes she’s getting no response, seeing the body and completely falling to the ground, and then how she even MOUTHS Ellie after falling to the ground. 6x22; Ahhh, I feel like this is such an underrated acting moment for Hil, but it’s SO amazing <33 Like Hil really made you feel Peyton’s emotions. Like Peyton wants to leave her future child with a happy video of herself and she’s trying to smile through it and give out this amazing/positive message but it’s just SUCH a tragic thing to be doing so obviously such conflicting emotions and I think Hil really makes you feel them. link scene [/url]

2x09; My poor child/mom/queen has gone through so much :( But this moment was just a teenage girl who has had so much shit happen to her and felt so alone to the point where she just couldn’t handle it anymore and almost resorted to drugs and I just feel like we’ve all had moments where we felt so alone and broken and Hil really made us feel Peyton’s pain. link scene [/url]

4x15; “You made fun of my mom’s death, Brooke” DEAD. I think Brooke’s comments towards Peyton’s mom were always overlooked and down played when (lbr) they were super horrible and cruel and I think Hil did an AMAZING job of showing us just how much those comments broke Peyton. Like this is a girl Peyton shared all her pain with and that pain was then used to attack her and Hil really made us feel that heart break. link scene [/url]

5x06; Yo…man the way Hil portrayed anger in this scene. Like the way Peyton felt betrayed by Lucas and was so angry with him about the way their relationship ended and how she feels he did her wrong…Like Hil truly made you feel those emotions. link scene [/url]

3x21; Sorry I had to tie :( I couldn’t choose!! But this is another super underrated Hil acting moment. Hil was portraying a girl who thought she was supposed to love one guy, but truly was in love with another (who just so happened to be her best friend’s boy) and you can really tell the discomfort Peyton is in when she’s forced to act out a scene with Peyton and then her face when she realizes she loves him and jsflkajlf. One of the rare moments I disliked Brooke a bit. She really showed how much it hurts to be insulted by a friend who means so much to you

I have to admit my favorite acting moment from Hilarie is in 3x16 when she says to Lucas 'they're gonna come now...' there's something so calm about her face compared with the situation she's in and how her voice breaks and there are tears in her eyes just UGH </3 what she says is so true and it gets me everytime!

so going with 4x15 because she killed it, especially when she said 'you made fun of my mom's death' again she starts talking and then her voice breaks and she starts semi crying, semi talking and it's so epic & beatiful </33

and I will try to rank them all :p

so then would follow 5x06 I FREAKING ADORE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS SCENE 'you said it to the world, you said it to me & I wish you never had because you didn't mean any of it' SLAYYYY the way she speaks while throwing the books and then holding her face and crying for a bit before she speaks in a calmer way now just YES<3

3x13 probably one of my favorite crying scenes ever and especially because of how she uses her body and falls on the flooer

3x21 her realization and tears come so naturally & i loooove natural acting<3

2x09 such a powerful moment, especially when she throws the drugs in the mirror and breaks down at the same moment. she's vulnerable and very strong at the same moment and she makes you feel this and how desperate she is through her acting </3

6x22 there's something I love so much about Hilarie's acting here. She's crying because she thinks she might die & yet she doesn't scream or yell, she's not hysterical, she's very calm speaking through her heart and starts crying naturally <33

^YAAAAAAAS 3X16 is love!!!! I was debating so hard on putting that on the list too but I just couldn't decide and ultimately kicked that one off the list :(

Seriously, I consider her one of the most talented actresses when portraying a character, all of these make me chill </3
