I did what was asked until there were four plates set out, three of them loaded with massa, massas alimentícias with sauce, a salada with all the fixing, french pão and milho which I thought was strange but wasn't going to comment about when she cooked it for us. We took two plates out to our Fathers, who were very appreciative before returning to the cozinha where our plates were waiting, mine loaded with comida and hers barely half full.
"How's school?" She asked as she pushed her massa, massas alimentícias around her plate, her eyes flashing to the clock and up the stairs for some reason.
