She stood por his door her body shaking. it had been almost five years since she's last seen him and well he thought she was dead. there was no answer at the door so she knocked again. Remembering he always left the door unlocked she tugged at the door and it opened.
the house almost didn't look formilliar but the scent did. the smell of coffee, bourbon and sawdust. she took a deep breath and went downstairs. at first she expected a rude welcoming full of hate and betrayal. he'd never wanted to hurt her. why had she hurt him so many times? she wanted him to be hers so why did she always run away? this time she was going to face the only fear she ever had. telling him the truth.

"jen" he said when he saw her standing there. He said it like it was normal but there was pain in his voice.
"jethro" she said barely higher then a whisper. his blue eyes looked so familiar so... comfortable it held her in her spot. he poured himself a drink and poured her one and offered it to her. she walked down the steps like she used to do and accepted the drink.
"you can be mad" she said
He remained silent
"h*ll just say somethin" she said her coração in pain
jethro smiled at her fierce attitude. he remembered paris making amor to her, drinking coffee, the dates... she wasn't the same woman. she had been kidnapped and hurt. now she was stronger but at the same time weaker. he was mad- yes, but not to her. he was mad at the person who did this, and he would be sure to kill anyone who put a finger on her.

Remembering old times she started to cry, tears draining out her words. she's dreamed to be here again but now she wanted to be anywhere else. she wanted to be gone forever. disappear into clear mist. she fought the crying until it was mais then a couple tears. what was the point of hiding again. she knew she could trust him so why wouldn't she?

Seeing that Jenny was in pain Jethro wrapped his arms around her as her tears soaked his shirt. he squeezed her tightly which only made her cry more, but it felt okay again. "i'm here for you" he whispered in her ear.
she stopped crying and whispered "i'm sorry in his ear. i'm here for you... such beautiful words they'd never ever forget.
