I think this because, if Jack had lived titanic wouldn't be as HUGE emotional film it is. The ending would have been too happy and not as believable.

Actually in fan fiction I used to read rather AU stories where he somehow survived (but for some reason didn't come back in to Rose's life fore some years if at all.)

But as for the movie, the ending is fine.

It was sooo sad and emotional! But that was how the movie made it like. Yet, I'm going with this one...

I don't love it because no one of these people shouldn't die on Titanic,but it's just true.They died and nothing can change it.I think that when Jack dies is the best what I've ever seen,it's real.No one can live in freezing water without nothing on his body expect shirt :(

I'd say no but it was that point in the film that everyone just adored because it hit you hard and if it didn't have that then I don't think as many people would have gone back to watch it

No, I don't like when Jack died, but it was part of the film to make it emotional for viewers, known it's based on a true story although Jack is not a historical character but a fictional character.

I loved the ending though because not only did Rose place the Heart of the Ocean where it belonged which was with Titanic but she also died and met up with Jack in heaven.
