Yes- and I say this as a non-Muslim. I think that the recent "Arab Spring", as it has been termed, has helped- not because of a push for democracy (I think it is arrogant to assume that my Western democratic system is the best way for everyone, as so many people here do)- but because of the modern women being more empowered, wanting to seek an education, etc- eg. take all the support for Malala Yousafzai. Islamic countries all are also steeped in a rich history and culture that they will never lose, and all of this contributes to the bright future I think is in store for them :)
I hope so , just like the comment above me , I think the Arab spring is the first stip for freedom or like you said " bright future "
I'm from a country from the Arab spring and as much as I'm upset and hopeless but I know one day we will be whole , we will get back all of our lands from the occupiers oppressors
but we need actions we don't need words
we can't be like what we were and like what we are now , and we should stop from being scared of anyone but Allah
