Yeah the House spot is kind of dead too though so it's not surprising this one is also more dead since we're a minority. Hmm...I dunno what we could do for an event here...*is stumped*

Sorry, but I don't really participate in forum topics here at the Hameron spot anymore. It often ends up turning into a bashing session, as evidenced by the forum topic about ruining the Chameron wedding, which just makes me sad. I usually come through here every now and then to rate stuff, but I never feel comfortable participating in any forums.
So I hope more people reply to this forum so that more positive Hameron shipping can happen.

Aw missy the Chameron wedding crashing is just a silly Hameron fantasy thread. There are a lot of hardcore Hameron fans here; let them have a way to release their frustration. I'm a bit frustrated too, but not as bad. It's kind of like what I imagine Huddys doing at the end of the series and House and Cuddy don't hook up after all.

I don't want the Chameron wedding to break up really it'd just be interesting to see how to make it go awry.

I dunno why is it that Huddys blame just Hameron for bashing? I'm pretty sure some Huddys did their fair share too. That's a little unfair to group it to just Hamerons. Then again I wasn't here when it was heated or whatever.

Well, that is why I don't really participate here anymore. I consider myself a hardcore Hameron fan, but I don't fit in here.

And as someone who is both Huddy and Hameron, I can assure you both sides have bashed each other plenty in the past. There have been lots of Hameron bashers at the Huddy spot, but the big difference is that most Huddy fans at the Huddy spot will tell Hameron bashers to shut up. But here, in this spot, bashing other ships is accepted and even encouraged.
Also, I have always felt welcome in the Huddy spot, and my Hameron-ness has always been accepted by Huddy fans. On the other hand, I have experienced quite a lot of... meanness... from Hameron fans whenever I say that I like Huddy or Chameron. I certainly do not think that all Hameron fans are like that. But from my experience shipping Hameron, Huddy and Chameron, Hameron fans have been the least accepting and the most disrespectful of my shipping preferences.
And please don't think of it as "Hamerons vs Huddys" because I am in both camps.

Sorry, I didn't mean this to turn into a discussion about this. But I just think it is important for us to know that this spot has kinda died off a little because there are a few of us who are not comfortable sharing our thoughts here.

i know some times that we can be rude, but this the way that we can express our Love For Hameron. and isn't "Hameron is over get over it" an offense? I guess I am just more sensitive to the anti-Huddy and anti-Chameron stuff because I am one of the very few people who ships all three, so it can really suck when more ship-bashing goes on in a spot than positive shipping.
Like, I have lots and lots to talk about in terms of Hameron from 'Saviors', but I never feel comfortable sharing my thoughts here because it usually turns into an opportunity to bash other ships. And I don't really buy into it being about the prominance of Huddy and Chameron right now, because there is still HEAPS of Hameron-ness going on at the moment, as evidenced by 'Saviors'.

i realy like people that ship all the ships, other people that ship only 1 ship, sometimes stop watching the show, when there Ship is week. (wich is most the time Hameron:P)

Aw dang it missy I want to hear your thoughts about Saviors! I'm kind of sad cause that episode has made me less Hameron and hearing your thoughts on Saviors may help. You get on MSN messenger or anything where we can talk about all the ships? Cause I think I ship most everything except Foreman + anyone. Saviors did make me like Foreteen better though I like how they were in sync about how crazy the POTW was.

I dunno I went to the Huddy forum more often in January and I got sick of it because of all the Cameron hate. Hating Cameron is almost like hating on Hameron too I feel...

I get what you're saying about people bashing other ships. I try not to generally and I'll try harder to discourage bashing against other ships. But there should be room for explaining why one prefers one over the other at the same time.

Isn't there a way to change the Hameron attitude exhibited so this spot can be more active?

BTW what scene and what episode is your icon from miss_orange? Reminds me of the patient who has to tell the truth episode when Cuddy smiles in the elevator when House isn't looking. Love that scene so much ^_^.

I'm not on MSN, but I am willing to write up my thoughts on 'Saviors' and my recent Hameron resurgence, as long as I am able to talk about both Huddy and Chameron freely without being told that I'm not a good Hameron fan. If there is ANY bashing, I will remove it instantly. I will not allow my thoughts to be used for someone else to bash an opposing viewpoint. I don't mind debate, in fact, I love debate! But there is a significant difference between debate and bashing.
Plus, I have 2 university assignments that I am supposed to be doing now (LOL!). So, it may not appear for a while. :(

Oh, and miss_orange: I LOVE THAT SCENE! Cameron FTW! LOL!

In all honestly, this spot died when all the negative shipping started happening. I think the best way to get it up and running again is to focus on the great Hameron moments that we have been getting lately.

I have to agree with you. I'm not an active user in this spot but I used to come here from time to time. Like you said, when all that negative shipping started the spot really died.
Everyone has the right to ship whomever they want, so why all that bashing?
Anyway, we should make some picks, add more photos/icons/etc.., I don't know! Something to bring back the joy to this spot :D

I agree that we need more positive shipping, so adding more stuff is always good! I guess my problem with the spot has been the content of the forums and the articles and some of the picks. I think we just need to re-focus on Hameron, rather than what Huddy and Chameron are doing.

mmm... what about Graphics Contests Only About Hameron? like the themes Could be: Hameron Kiss, the date, Moments..... any thing that has to do with Hameron.

I guess as long as someone is will to organise it every week. But I just worry that we may not get enough people interested. Like, some weeks we don't get enough people for the House MD spot graphics contest, and there are 13,000+ fans on that spot.

But if someone organises it, I will enter whenever I can!
