It bothers me because it shows that they have self-esteem issues. And I personally don't like the sight of a woman driving herself down that path. Which leads to depression, insecurity, and etc. Women should always feel good about themselves. No matter what.
I understand if they want to lose weight for the sake of staying in top physical condition, but if it's for the reasons I mentioned previously, then there's something that needs to be compromised on a personal level. [shrugs] But I suppose everyone is different...
It's always bothered me,because they think they dont look good enough just the way they are,and plus who ever said a woman needs to be thin to look good.
[shrugs] It's the media. They've convinced women around the globe that "thin is in." Which is something I strongly disagree with. Women shouldn't be worried about being thin. When instead, they can be enjoying themselves for who they are.
I even have several (girl) friends who think their overweight just because their bum is "too big." And whenever they say that, I simply give a baffled look... It's just not true...
I agree, the media has shown what a woman "should look like", but i must say that those are not the things that all men look for in a woman. I just find it frustrating that women try to look like the image the media has presented, when they don't have to, because they look good just the way they are.
