The Crooked Man from The Conjuring 2 to get his own movie 

EW has confirmed that The Crooked Man from director James Wan’s 2016 hit 

Writer Mike Van Waes has been recruited by New Line to pen the script for the movie, which is based on a story by Wan and will be produced by the director and Peter Safran. The Crooked Man is a terrifying paranormal apparition which

appeared briefly, but memorably, in Wan’s horror sequel.
