I've now got four new horror movies to watch in my marathon this month. I bought Alone in the Dark and the Nightmare on Elm Street remake. I also rented Splice and The Tomb, the latter of which I'm watching right now.

Have you seen the ANOES remake? It's kind of...shitty.

I haven't, but it can't be any worse than the Ft13, or Halloween remakes were for their originals.

I thought the ANOES remake was worse than all of those I guess because the original is so close to my heart. The Halloween remake would be 2nd worst because the original Halloween is one of my favorites too. But I'm a HUGE ANOES stan and I thought they butchered the remake in so many degrees. There were 2 cool scenes, and one of which I remembered later was stolen from ANOES 4 so it makes it 10x less cool. The other was at least original but still. The only good point in the movie.

I've come to appreciate the Friday the 13th remake for the cheesy piece of crap that it is. Too much drugs, nudity, and nonsense for me to take it seriously but it's still pretty fun to watch sometimes.

I watched Splice last night. Not as horrifying as I hoped it would be, but the storyline was pretty good.

I didn't think it looked scary. It looked more like a supernatural thriller.

It was, but it had **thinking** only one truly gory scene. Everything else was mostly suspenseful and psychological.
