The 4 of them sat around the table. Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin. They had come to discuss the matter of founding the school for which magical children could learn how to control their magic. It was a good idea, but it would take a while to get everything to fall into place. Salazar spoke up. ''I think everything is already set. Why are we sitting here?'' ''Yes, why?'' Rowena agreed. ''We all know that the school will be open on the first of September, and we already sent out the letters. Is there a last-minute addition to the staff or students?'' Godric looked up. ''Eventually, there will be no mais students that need our teachings and the school will be closed. We need mais students.'' Salazar laughed. ''And what, Godric, ask muggles to come?'' The room went deadly silent. Helga looked around expectantly at the others, not sure as to what she was going to say. ''It might work,'' She said timidly, ''Muggle-'' ''Muggles don't belong here! They belong the the muggle world, where they fit in! Not here! I would never think you would want to risk our secret to the world Godric.'' Godric looked intently at Salazar. ''We can trust some muggles, perhaps. We may be able to accept about 100 muggles into our school.'' He finished calmly. But Salazar was still outraged. ''But which 100 Godric? Which 100?! We can't possibly send 100 muggles a letter and hope that none of them will reveal our secret! It cannot be done, Godric.'' Rowena spoke up after a brief moment of silence. ''Well maybe if they were so smart that they would have enough common sense not to tell our secret, they might be trustworthy.'' Rowena, as usual, was using her logic on the situation and speaking her opinions to the group, making them think. ''I agree. They might be able to gain our trust if they are smart enough to tell that this is a very grave secret they are keeping. I segundo Rowena's nomination.'' It was now Godric and Salazar to make their decision. Godric spoke first. ''I suppose Rowena is right. I third the nomination.'' ''That settles it. We-'' ''It settles nothing! How could you three be so blind? We cannot trust muggles! If you are to do this, then I will not be a part of the making of the school.'' Godric looked coldly at Salazar. ''Fine.'' And with that, Salazar left the room, never to return. But Godric, Rowena, and Helga, still faithful to their old friend, named a house of students after him and the good things he had done.
