I saw that ROTGgirl2004 wrote something like this, so I thought I'd give it a shot. This is the story of my 'conversion' to Hetalia.

I grew up watching Veggietales. Plain and simple. Veggietales. Then I discovered the internet. At that time, I didn't have the slightest idea what a fandom was. I had never read a fanfiction in my life. Then I stumbled upon Deviantart- and the Veggietales fandom.

I was naturally excited to discover that there were other people who liked the same things I did. So I set out to see all the Veggietales fanart and read all the fanfiction I possibly could. por now your probably wondering what this has to do with Hetalia. You see, Veggietales led me to Hetalia- although in a rather indirect manner.

One dia I had finished a chapter of a fanfiction and was just staring at the recommended section, resting my eyes for a second. Then one word caught my eye. 'What's a... Hetalia?' I wondered. I moved past the strange word, yet every time I read a Veggietales fanfiction it came back to haunt me in the recommended section. Hetalia. What did it mean?

Later, I also discovered Fanfiction.net. Quickly finishing all the Veggietales fics on the website, I moved on to find a few other fandoms.

One dia I chanced to come upon a Veggietales and Sword Art Online crossover. Curious, I clicked. It sounded interesting, although I had no idea what it was. I read the few chapters it contained, my interest piqued. Still confused to what it actually was, I later decided to look for a Sword Art Online fanfiction section. The problem was, I didn't know what order to procurar for it in! Was it a cartoon, or the storyline of an actual game? Or... maybe it was an anime? Exactly what was anime, anyway? It was that Japanese drawing style, that kind Japão used for their cartoons, wasn't it? I searched and found what I was looking for under Anime/Manga. So it was anime....

Scrolling upwards through the list, I wondered at the many foreign characters seguinte to the strange names. Coming to the top, I noticed that the third most popular animê did not, in fact, have Japanese lettering seguinte to it's title. 'Hetalia: Axis Powers'. There it was again! That weird word, why did I feel as if I had seen it before? My curiosity was once again aroused. "Click!"

I cautiously opened the first fanfic on the list. Skimming it, I noticed something odd. The characters seemed to be the personifications of countries! 'What a great idea!' I thought with interest. 'That's neat! So someone took the different countries of the world and made a Japanese cartoon about them?'

I left, occasionally returning to scroll through the list and wonder about this animê called Hetalia. Then later, I found Quotev. 'Cool! It's another website for fãs and stuff!'

A few weeks later, I opened the main page of Quotev. The recommended quizzes section had a hetalia - axis powers teste in it. 'Hetalia... oh, I know what that is! Isn't that that animê thing with all the different countries in it?' "Click!"

One teste led to another, and soon I was starting to be sucked in.
