Many Harry Potter fãs were already adults when the first Harry Potter movie got out in the theaters. Many other fãs were not even born. But most of us were kids just like Harry, Ron and Hermione.
We sure felt connected to them and hoped that one dia somebody as huge as Hagrid would knock our door and announce us that we are accepted to the best wizzarding school. We whispered "Alohomora" everytime we saw a locked door, we cried for Cedric everytime we saw a maze and we picked up Harry Potter costumes for Halloween.
Now, many years later we feel hollow. Harry Potter is over. And with it our childhood is gone as well. We can now look back and remember all those things that defined us some years ago. Harry Potter is one of those. So, besides this emptiness that I now feel, I am happy that it was one important part of childhood and even for my life. I will remember it everytime I look at the selves where the seven books are, everytime there is a Harry Potter movie on televisão and everytime I see a locked door I will still whisper "Alohomora" and expect it to open.
