Am I the only one who thinks Hufflepuff is underrated?

I hate how both in the books and in the fandom, everyone hates on Hufflepuff. I really don't see anything wrong with being loyal. It's a good trait to have! It is also not as easy as it looks. What if you don't like someone? What if someone I sun loyal to you? So. I really don't see people's deal with Hufflepuff.

In the fandom, yes, I think Hufflepuff is under-rated and also misunderstood. People seem to think it's the loser house or the house for those who don't fit into the other 3. I think that impression comes from a line in one of the Sorting Hat's songs, "Hufflepuff took the rest and taught them all she knew" (paraphrased). But the house does have its own traits: hard work, loyalty, fairness.

In the books themselves though, I don't think it's that undervalued. The only character I can remember truly criticising it is Draco back in the first book. And he wasn't the kind of person whose opinions you should really take, especially back then.

Eh, it depends on what side of the fandom. The tumblr ones amor Hufflepuff, but the other side of the fandom doesn't seem to care about them

You're right, Hufflepuff is slightly undervalued, though it's mainly the Slytherins that criticize- but then, Slytherins hate most people. They think everyone except themselves are losers, not just those of the Hufflepuff House. All I can say is, Hufflepuffs are a good, kind, loyal people as a whole, and anyone who thinks different is most likely a Slytherin; don't pay them any attention.
