Does any of the books mention where were the tortured Longbottoms when they were found?

Someone seems to recall that some books mentioned that they were found wandering around their house, mindless. But all I can remember is that they were captured and tortured, and that the four Death Eaters were caught at the scene of the crime.

Forgive me, it has been a while since I read the books, but I don't believe they did address where they were found only that it happened and who did it. Also where the Longbottoms could be found currently, as well as, that Neville, not just Harry, could have been the boy spoken about in the prophecy. I wish I could go get my books because I could reference this answer, but sadly they are in storage.

Yes, all that I remember from the books. But someone thinks the place they were found at was also mentioned and I don't recall that. So I'm wondering if I've just forgotten or if this other person is confusing fanfiction to be from a canon source,

None of the books or filmes mentions where they were found. We only hear about the incident twice in the series. I'll outline both below.
The first time we (and Harry) hear of it, is in the Pensieve, when Barty Crouch, Jr. and the Death Eaters are on trial. There is no mention of where the crime took place, only that the four of them were found on the scene.
The seguinte we hear of it is in St. Mungo's, after Arthur Weasley is attacked por Nagini. The reference to it is, again, very brief and does not mention where it happened.
It is likely that that someone read a fanfic detailing what the author thinks could have happened. It may also be one of those obscure details Ms. Rowling has started to reveal. Your best bet is to ask thhe person where that info came from. If it's an "official" website, then it might be true. Likewise for the books/movies or the author's mouth.

She already made clear that she thinks she read it from one of the books in the series. But apparently she's remembering incorrectly. But the weird thing is I too seem to recall having read something like that somehwere. I've been trying to look into interviews with Rowling but I ca't find her talking about that detail...yet I haven't read too many fanfics related to that night...Hmm...
