If the Elder wand is the most powerful wand in the world. What is it's core and what wood is it made up of do you think?

I don't remember it's core or kind of wood being mentioned in the book at all. I was just watching DH the other night and I was wondering about it. Also, sorry if this has been asked before.

No prob! It's one of the details of the Elder Wand being part of the Deathly Hallows; only those who have seen Death can see Thestrals, and the posessor of the Deathly Hallows is (allegedly) the "Master of Death".
