What's this charm called in english?

The one which makes the other person see a hallucination of whatever they are told they're supposed to see but the image can't be felt or heard and exists only as long as the person think it's real?

What is it called and what are the words to conjure it? I've only read the books completely through in Finnish, and I couldn't find this por google with any palavras chave I could think of. xP

And for the matter... Does anyone know a good spell list from which it'd be easy for someone like me to find the names and conjuring words for a specific spell? As in a list that explains the spells throughly enough.

Thank you in advance. :)

I think you're alluding to "Confundo", the Confusing Charm. That's the charm Severus used on Mundungus Fletcher to suggest him the 7 Potters decoy (on Dumbledore's orders), so that Harry could escape the Dursleys safely just before hitting 17. (Deathly Hallows).

That's the example that comes to my mind but it is used on other occasions.

Ad for a good spell list, try the HP Lexicon, in English, it has a thorough list of the spells used in the books, besides countless interesting information and facts.

Thanks! :) So far I've had to avoid using the spells' names and conjuring words in my fics (apart from the most memorble like the Unforgivables and Lumos and such) and quite frankly it probably starts to look stupid in a long run. :D So, thanks again: :D

I agree with you - when I write fanfic, I like to have my facts straight and I spend sometimes time doing research for that purposes so that my stories are credible.
