harry potter Pergunta

In the third task of the tri-wizard cup, how did the spectators not see into the maze?

I think that the walls of the maze were 20 ft high and the quidditch stadium seats are a lot higher, right? It just seems that the people in the stands could of seen what was going on inside the maze.

One word my young (not as young as me...) friends.
Magic. They used magic to keep people from seeing into the maze. But remember, The fake "Mad-eye" could see into the maze.

I knew they used magic but wasn't sure exactly what kind and if I had missed it reading. The only thing is, wouldn't mad-eye have seen Cedric go with Harry?

Yeah the walls were very high to keep the contestants and the magical creatures from climbing them. Not to mention there was fog near the top.

Except for all the good reasons that other people have mensioned, like magic and fog, you have to be pretty far up to see someone behind a hedge that high. Just study this pic.

It might be hard to see on the picture but it shows that Harry is only visible 2 or maybe 3 layers of the maze, even if the audience is seated almost 40 meters up.
