Long as it has a good plot and an awesome character I can obsess over endless and relentlessly!

It depends on the book. Some stories (like The Great Gatsby, and Twilight) wouldn't have been nearly as impactfull had they been written in third person. Some stories (like Harry Potter, and Paradise Lost) wouldn't have been nearly as impactfull had they been written in first person. (Well, PL might have been, but that's a whole separate debate.) Some books (like Artemis Fowl) would have been even better in first person. Some books (like The Mediator) would have been better in third person. It just... all depends.

I'd never deny a book because it's in 3rd person, but I find 1st to be more intimate. I enjoy experiencing with the character, rather than observing from overhead.

I really don't care. I just think it should be well written with insanely awesome charaters.

It depends upon the book, I agree with brimarie but I also agree with jenn17 a little bit. Characters can get more annoying if it´s written in 1st person.

I love loads of first person books, (Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, Cirque Du Freak, Artemis Fowl..) but then I love third person aswell. (Harry Potter, Narnia, Gone, Maze Runner...)
