Difficult, Rosalie resented being a vampire and not being able to have kids which will follow her for eternity. Where as Ron showed resentment at been poor but as he got older it mattered less.

What I meant by grateful has nothing to do with them being vampires. I didn't know how else to word it, but what I meant was in terms of money issues. I wouldn't want to be a vampire either.

While they might not want to be vampires, Carlisle saved them all from dying....they'd be dead if it weren't for him, and some people would probably rather be a vampire than die. And besides, what did the Weasleys ever have to be GRATEFUL for? It's not as though they were grateful for being poor.

This isn't a 'who has more to be grateful for' pick, it's a 'who is more grateful' pick. The Weasley kids are far more grateful that the Cullens.

The Weasleys are more grateful.
They show far more affection for all that their parents were able to give them.

I don't know what exactly the question meant, but I interpreted it as 'who acts more grateful when getting something?'. If that was what the question meant, then the Weasley kids would be far more grateful, because they have barely anything in the first place.

The Cullens take everything for granted and use money to solve all their problems - taking their expensive car and a flight to Italy straight away, bribing the guard with FOREIGN CURRENCY etc...
The Weasleys have value for money. They are grateful to their parents because even though Molly and Arthur don't have a lot of money, they go without to make sure their children have food, school supplies etc., even if they can't afford new clothes and things - Molly Weasley spends all her time looking after the kids and Arthur is very hard-worked etc. Even when Fred & George's business became a success, their personalities didn't change, except they were glad that they could now repay their mother for all she did for them.

The Cullens didn't ask to be vampires and Rosalie isn't even that happy about it.

Besides, they Cullens have never gone without. They have tons of money, plenty of food, and immortal parents. The Weasley's scrounge for every knut and the possibility that they can (and did) lose members of their family.

I still think Ron is grateful, especially when he grows up and matures, but he is quite immature sometimes and especially in the first few books. Sometimes he gets fed up with being poor and complains, but never seriously and he never resents his parents or blames them. It must be hard being best friends with smart, skilled Hermione and rich, famous Harry sometimes and I don't think Ron would be human if he wasn't a little jealous.

I choose the Weasleys because they are not constantly moping around and complaining about how bad their life is, even though they don't have much money, are living in dark times with the fear of losing their loved ones and mocked by a big part of the community for being muggle-loving etc.

Whereas the Cullens have infinite resources when it comes to money, are super-hot and immortal, have a great house and awesome cars and apparently have the perfect lifepartners they could ask for.
How about seeing the bright side every once in a while, huh?

OK let me say this. BOTH CHOICES WERE GRATEFUL.
seriously why is this a question? HP fans trying to point out silly little things just so that they can make themselves sound superior?
I think the cullen kids are grateful for having a family such as there own. i dont think ANY of them can imagine what life could of been. Rose was raped, and she got her revenge. Emmett was about to die painfully and slow if it wasnt for rose finding him. Alice and jasper WERNT even BITTEN by a cullen, but Alice could see them having a new and better life as a vampire if they went to Carlisles family. Edward was bitten because his mother pleaded to do anything in Carlisles power that he would keep him alive, and now he found his love. (Not that i care much about Ed and Bella though) they would have been either dead, killed by something horrible, or they would spend eternity without knowing how to live without completely feeling like monsters.

again i say, BOTH CHOICES ARE GRATEFUL. so dont go all wacko on me. im just saying why this is even a question...if you all would come to realize if YOU like the book, and YOUR enjoying it, who fricken cares about the other book?
well, besides me, cause i love them both.

Chill. It's just a question. Nobody is provoking anybody. We are having a calm debate.

I agree with SuperSnuffles13. No one is provoking anyone, so why the hostility? No one is going wacko on anyone, so just chill out a little. We're only giving our opinions on the question. Also, if you think they're both grateful, why did you choose the Cullens over the Weasleys? You don't have to vote if you don't want to or you agree on both choices equally.

Um, I agree with the above 2 comments. ImBooOK If you don't want "stupid questions" (as you call it) then this club is really not the best club for you to be on. Your last sentence makes no sense, when you're on the HARRY POTTER VS. TWILIGHT SPOT. I honestly dont mean to sound rude, but yeah..
