Edward may have to look after Bella (a very annoying task) but he seems happy with her. Yes he had to fight James but that only took one book to do. He has a faimly that loves him and got te girl of his dreams. He struggled to hold back his thirst for Bella's blood but even in the end he got it and everything works out.

Ron had a love potion (intended for Harry used on him) he got in a big fight with Harry. Ron pretty much struggles when helping Harry face Voldemort (which took all 7 books might I add) and alot of the time was really under appricated. He was bullied by the slytherins (they're Weasley is our king song is a good exsample) To put it simpaly Ron deals with real life struggles and magical ones.

Come on, his family is large and dirt poor for one. He constantly gets hand-me-downs. Then he gets bullied at school by the Slytherins. His family is viewed as Blood Traitors. And he's Harry Potter's best friend, which you KNOW means he'll get into a bunch of trouble down the line. xD

Well, I don't think Ron's life is particularly hard, per se. But Edward's life is incredibly sheltered.

Yeah zanhar that's one way to look at it but overall i think Edward had a pretty rougher life i mean yes in the end he got happy but he stood like 100 years sucking blood and seeing how everybody dies .

Yes but who's fault is that? His own. At least is family is'nt poor at least he doesnt have like 7 other siblings liveing in a small house. At least he is'nt bullied in school, matter of fact thy're all drooling all over him.

Seriously have you read/watch the books/movies ?He was dying and he didn't choose to be transformed but Carlisle did.Okay he doesn't live in a small house , and when was Ron bullied ? Oh when he was in his first years hell everyone gets bullied in school and Edward was almost killed a few times to.I love both but i just can't see how Ron's life is harder.

Yes i read the books if I didnt I wouldnt be here. Ron was bullied, by Draco. Have YOU read the books? Draco would say he's poorer then dirt and the other Slytrins would join in how about the Weasley is our king song. The WEasley is our king song was in his 6th year. He also had a love potion used on him. In the last book a hocrux called him useless useing images of his friends. Both almost get killed. But Ron almost dies in every book. Edward this time it was totally his fult he almost got killed, he ran off to comit suecide. Sure he was told Bella was dead but he handled it in the wrong way.

Yes i said indeed he was bullied but EVERYONE this days gets bullied in the real world and they actually get bullied harder(like get beaten up , steal money and stuff like this ) yes to all the things you mentioned but i in my opinion i would rather live like Ron then live 100 YEARS seeing everyone die and sucking blood.

I have to agree immortality would suck after a while but Edward his his family forever. Ron was bullied to the point where he was cpoughing up slugs, yes that was sort of his fult but he was bullied into it. Pluse he got to sit in a jail cell as his soon to be wife got tourtured.

Oh no not at all, this is a debate spot its been a while since I've seen such good points. :)

Ron had to go through so much in just seven years. He has nearly gotten killed hundreds of times. He had seen and heard of so many of his friends, acquaintances, and even his brother, Fred, die. He's been tortured, bullied, threatened, and has had many fights (verbally and physically) with his friends. Plus, his familiy's broke and he has to deal with getting hammy-downs.

Edward is rich and has Bella. During his time before Bella, he could have picked millions of better girls to be with, but he choose 100 years to wait for Bella. Even then, he had his new vampire family that treated him almost like a prince.

Ron's just a whiny litttle git. Edwards life is much harder. He hates himself and doesnt beleive he has a soul. Hes under the impression that hes a monster.............Rons life could have been easier but I still think Edwards life sucks in comparison.
