Logical reasons...
why Harry Potter v.s Twilight

*WARNING SPOILERS*

Hi! I'm Cinnominbubble and I have noticed the war between fandoms have been going on for a while with no clear outcome. There is a reason to this-We are stubborn. Twihards want to stick up for Stephanie Meyer, whilst Potterheads want to do the same for J. K. Rowling. But, I have noticed something. Many of our reasonings aren't exactly logical. I mean, not to be offensive, some of our strongest points are downright idiotic!(from both sides) I'd like to come up with some smarter points to help people see our side of the story, whatever that side may be! It would do well to expect mais of these in the future because of all the idiocy going around.(Again, not to be offensive)

I am a fã of Harry Potter but I'd like to acknowledge both sides to the story. People will be yelling at me at the end of this, so in advance, I say sorry for anything offensive.

-First off, I'd just like to say to you twihards, Harry Potter came first in 1998, whereas Twilight came out in 2005, I believe. So J.K Rowling did not copy Stephanie Meyer. I am in possession of both these series' and though Jacob and Sirius both have the same last name, and can both transform into dog-like figures, that is where the similarities stop. Sirius Black is a prisoner escaped from the wizard prison, Azkaban, where he was placed under false pretences. He is an old friend of Harry's parents, and is also Harry's godfather. He is only able to become a dog because he is an animagus, a witch or wizard with the ability to transform into a certain animal at will. He became an Animagus illegally in order to help his friend, Remus Lupin, who was a werewolf, through those bleak nights where there was a full moon. lobisomens only attack humans and so Sirius was only seguro while in his dog form. Jacob Black on the other hand, is not a real werewolf. In Breaking Dawn, his species is called Shape-shifters as Aro says himself. He is only a shape-shifter because it runs in his family and... Yah. That subject all cleared up? I hope so.

-I have heard people saying that Twilight is a better amor story but there's an easy answer to that... Harry Potter isn't a amor story. Sure, if you are into that genre, go for Twilight, but is not fair to say that Harry Potter is a bad book just because it's not a romance novel.

-Yah, ok the Harry Potter characters have flaws! Bella and Rosalie seem to be the only ones with flaws in the entire series, Bella's being her disability to understand what goes on around her sometimes, and Rosalie's being over-the-top-jeolosy... Those don't even seem like flaws! Harry's cast on the other hand, has plenty of flaws. Hermione with her buck-teeth and bad posture, Mrs. Weasley with her over-protectiveness et cetera. But as someone in history said, Flaws are what give your character, well, character! There are plenty of people in Harry Potter with less flaws(Cho, Cedric, et al.) but flaws none the less. So again, if you prefer books where you characters are close to perfect, be my guest and read Twilight. I personally found the characters mais relatable,(mainly Hermione) with their flaws and anger management issues.

Now I know I haven't addressed most of the major questions, but I honestly can't remember anymore(it's 10:06 PM, I just came início from piano! Cut me some slack please...wow I whine a lot!) Feel free to give me feedback, perguntas and requests for my seguinte article(this is my first for Logical Reasons) Go ahead, tell me how bad it is, cant get any worse than what I (or Ralph[inside joke]) tell myself:D I will editar to accommodate all new questions, unless I get an overflow of questions. I will create an artigo for any point, if logical and/or if I understand/know of it. Since this is my first, I don't expect much. Just, if you have any negative comments(Twihards, if I wrote something wrong etc.)tell me in non caps form(don't be angry)

Yours in demigodishness, and all that. Peace Out!

The Cullens are weird. Not in a vampiric sense but in common sense. They are trying to stay camouflaged but they keep failing. Lets review, shall we?

1. They go to high school over and over again. They try to blend in with the other non-sparkly, non-Adonis(y), non-vampiry and nonsensical humans. Aside from this, they pout in the cafeteria during lunch hour. Why? They could just eat their lunch elsewhere. They don't eat, so it's unlikely that no one has noticed them not eating.

2. High school is a crowded place. People keep bumping into each other at some point. Let's say the Cullens are very...

I see a lot of Twiight fãs arguing the same points over and over again, and frankly, they have no idea what they're talkinng about.

First I'd like to point out:

Some Twilight fãs are saying that they are confused with Harry Potter because they haven't read the books and the filmes don't explain clearly enough. Well, guess what, that does not make Twilight better than Harry Potter, it is not out fault you haven't read Harry Potter. When we argue Harry Potter vs. Twilight I was under the impression that we were including both books and movies, not just the movies. So the fact that your confused...

I suspect I'm not the only one, am I? XD...... Anyways, you know you're obsessed with Bellatrix when....
Credit: Me Myself and I

1. You throw away all of your hairbrushes.

2. You wear at least some black every day.

3. You rip your clothes on purpose.

4. You call people you don't like "filthy mudbloods".

5. You yell "CRUCIO!" at people when you get mad.

6. You carry knives on your person

7. Your desktop background and screensaver are of Bellatrix.

8. Whenever you're typing a word that starts with a "B" or an "L", you accidentally type out a Bellatrix or a Lestrange instead.

9. You think her birthday should...

I found this online. It's a real conversation a bookstore employee apparently had with a Twilight fan. It didn't happen to me. I found it funny, thought you guys might too.

(A customer in her late teens approaches me in the bookstore.)
Customer: “Hey, do you guys sell the Twilight books?”
Me: “Yes, they’re right over there.”
Customer: “Have you read them?”
Me: “Yes, I have.”
Customer: “Didn’t you just amor them?!”
Me: “Well, actually, they aren’t really my type of book, so–”
Customer: *suddenly furious* “Are you f***ing serious?! These are the best books ever written! I’m going to tell Edward to come and bite you and drink all your blood!”
Me: *backing away* “Have a nice day, ma’am…”

I was thinking about difference in Harry Potter and Twilight background and this is what I concluded. Enjoy!

Knowledge of magical beings not soo very far from their backyards
Harry Potter: As I can get from HP books and The Tales of Beedle the Bard, wizarding world was known to Muggles, but because of witch hunt and victims of it in both sides, wizard decided to go underground and not to be commonly know to people. They don`t use spells in front of Muggles and if sombody does manage to discover their secret, they erase their memory.
However, there are exeptions. Families of Mugle-borns ofcourse...

THIS IS JUST MY PERSONALL OPINION, FEEL FREE TO DISAGREE, THIS IS JUST WHAT I THINK, NOT THE ENTIRE POPULATION OF TWILIGHT FANS. SO PLEASE UNDERSTAND THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION!!!!!!

Thank you.

Just so you know, this is a Twilight fã speaking.

Twilight may NOT be the best book ever, i didnt say that it was (keep that in mind), when i read it, i saw alot of flaws, like in breaking dawn, Meyer made it clear that vamps cant inject sperm, and yet, somehow Bella got pregnant. I've read this artigo por XDRoseLuvsHP, and i totaly agree. I believe that People like Twilight mais thatn HP because it...

For all of you who don't know this, but I am an ex-Twilight fan. This my own personal opinion based on my personal experience with the series. For all of the Twilight fãs who may be leitura this right now, you have been warned. So here I go:

When in the course of normal, non-brainwashed leader events, it becomes necessary to dissolve the addiction of the highly “popular” teen-craving novel which have been oppressive to the efforts to differentiate the normal and the abnormal fantasia to which people, generally females, dreamed of, decent respect to the creativity based on the author's dream...

Like a lot of other Antis, I was at first a Twilight fan.

I got into leitura when I was 8 years old. First real book I have read was Harry Potter. Since than, I have read loads of fiction - romance, science fiction, fantasy, historical novels...
I liked some of them and disleked others. With years, I learnd to tell why and found my favoritos - fantasia novels.

My friend heard of upcoming Twilight movie, so she decided to read it. She recomended the book to me, so I said: "Heck, why not, it sounds interesing." I borrowed it from school biblioteca and read it. I admit, I thought it was great, and I...
